Shine Muscat lunchbox cake 27,000 won at Jamsil bakery Circus Rabbit

While hunting for a dessert shop near Jamsil Station that takes same-day cake orders, I discovered Circus Rabbit, a cake shop full of gorgeous designs! It also offers unmanned pickup, so it's super convenient to grab a cake without much hassle. Here's my visit review~

Where is Circus Rabbit in Jamsil, and what are the hours?

Circus Rabbit is located at B2-10, basement level 1, Jangmi Jonghap B Complex, 112 Olympic-ro 35-gil, Songpa-gu, Seoul, South Korea. Tuesdays run 12:00-16:00 (break 14:00-14:45), Wednesday through Saturday run 10:00-16:00 with last order at 15:30, and the shop is closed on Sundays and Mondays.

How to find Circus Rabbit: exit 8 and the Jangmi B Complex basement

Circus Rabbit is located in the basement level 1 of the Jangmi Jonghap B Complex, and since there are so many shops packed in there, the way in gets a little confusing. A kind security guard passing by pointed me straight there, but just in case, I took photos of the route to share.

Come to exit 8, which is to the right of Hyundai Realty, go down the stairs, and Circus Rabbit is right in front of you.

Here's the floor plan of the Jangmi B Complex — trying to find the shop from any other direction gets way too complicated, so make sure to come in through exit 8.

Inside Circus Rabbit and how the unmanned pickup works

When I stopped by to pick up my order, all sorts of cakes were inside the store, waiting for their owners.

In front of the store there was a design pamphlet showing cake designs and a sign explaining how unmanned pickup works.

During times when the owner is briefly away, they say it's fine to reach out via Instagram, KakaoTalk Plus Friend, or phone~

On top of the showcase there were all kinds of candles available — from birthday candles for celebrating birthdays or anniversaries with a partner, to cute bear candles, rabbit candles, heart candles, and basic designs too, so you can pick whatever suits your taste!

Inside the showcase, finished lunchbox cakes were waiting, and honestly, you can tell at a glance how much care went into them. The designs are so pretty too~

Besides the lunchbox cake size, they also carry bigger cakes — you can check out various designs in the menu on Naver Maps.

Beyond design cakes, they also sell their own desserts — from the trendy fig sablé and fig bottle cake to the oreo matcha bottle cake, which I genuinely love, so it's a great stop even if you just want to grab a dessert to go.

How does the 27,000-won Shine Muscat lunchbox cake taste?

Among Circus Rabbit's lunchbox cakes, I ordered the seasonal fruit lunchbox cake! I got it for 27,000 won at a 10% discount, piled high with Shine Muscat grapes — is it even okay to be this generous?

They wrapped the cake up beautifully, so I hurried it home.

Such a pretty look! I'm personally not a fan of buttercream cakes, but this one used milk mascarpone cream, so it was full of the sweet milky flavor I love.

The Shine Muscat grapes on top were fresh and sweet too, and they paired really well with the milk cream and the fluffy chiffon sponge inside.
