Today I went on a date with my boyfriend to Diaz Cake Boutique near Suwon City Hall Station. It's only about 200m from Exit 9, so it's easy to get to, and the moment I walked in, the interior was really pretty. They had a wide variety of cakes too, so it was a great Ingye-dong café to relax at over dessert :) Alright, let's get into it!

Heading up to the 2nd floor, you reach the entrance of Diaz Cake Boutique. It felt bright and clean right from the doorway, which made me curious about what the inside would look like~
What cakes are in the Diaz Cake Boutique showcase?
The first thing that caught my eye when I walked in was, of course, the cakes! The showcase had quite a variety, from cream cakes to cakes topped with fruit.
Besides cake slices, they also had whole cakes, so anyone looking for a Suwon cake spot might want to keep that in mind. When I visited, I saw cakes with peach, fig, and blueberry.
Just looking at the showcase was fun!
Inside Diaz Cake Boutique: white classic interior and seating
Diaz Cake Boutique was also a café where it was fun just to look around at the interior. Overall it had a white tone with classic furniture and props placed throughout! Seating stretched along the long, narrow shop, and there were also tables by the window. A spot displaying teacups and teapots really caught my eye.
There were teacups that looked like they belonged in Beauty and the Beast, and lots of cute little props to look at, haha. There was also a window seat with great sunlight, and on this day the sun was coming in pretty strong. The natural light was perfect for taking photos of the cake ><

That day we ordered three things: an iced americano, an iced choco latte, and the peach cream cake.

Peach cream cake: peaches between every layer
What I picked was the peach cream cake!
On top of the cream cake were several big chunks of peach. Looking at the cross-section, there was peach layered between the sponge too, so with every bite you got cream and fruit together!
I liked that it wasn't just a few fruit slices placed on top — there was peach inside as well. The soft sponge, smooth cream, and peach together made for a solidly delicious combination. The cream wasn't heavy or greasy either — it was that sweet, comforting kind of tasty!
Iced americano and iced choco latte
I ordered an iced americano to go with the cake. It was great to sip in between bites of the cream cake. When you order a sweet dessert, pairing it with an americano is basically the golden rule, lol.
Here's the iced choco latte we also ordered. Compared to the americano it's clearly sweeter, so it's a good menu choice for days when you're craving something sweet with your dessert. My boyfriend ordered the iced americano and I ordered the choco latte, and we ended up stealing sips from each other until both were gone, hehe.
Is Diaz Cake Boutique worth a date in Suwon?
Diaz Cake Boutique was easy to get to since it's not far from Suwon City Hall Station, and above all, the interior really stuck with me. With the white-toned classic decor and props like teacups and teapots, the mood was clearly different from a typical franchise café.
The showcase had a good variety of cakes, and the peach cream cake I had was delicious, with peach layered inside the sponge too. Best of all, the cream quality was great 👍👍👍 — not greasy at all.
