Jeonpo shop street café in Busan for fig cream pudding pie: Hippy

Today I finally visited Hippy, a place I'd been curious about ever since spotting it a few times at department store pop-ups haha.

I was browsing shops on Jeonpo's shopping street and just as my blood sugar started dropping, I spotted Hippy and walked right in!

Inside Hippy: a red brick building with a wood-toned entrance

Hippy's red brick building with its wood-toned entrance really caught my eye!

Once inside, the store turned out to be much bigger than it looked from outside! With wood furniture, lots of plants, and props scattered around, there was quite a lot to look at haha. Hippy's own merchandise was also displayed on one side.

There are terrace seats outside, and going further into the terrace there's yet another space, like an annex!! This area is completely separate, so it looked great for a private, room-like experience if you're visiting with a group haha.

How Hippy's fig cream pudding pie and iced americano tasted

I ordered the iced americano and the fig cream pudding pie!

There's really a generous mound of cream on top, and the first bite hit with a strong milky flavor that was so good ㅠㅠ. There was plenty of fig inside too, and the pie crust was crisp and nutty! Inside there was also something like custard cream! Eating the milk cream together with the fig and custard cream, it was sweet while the pie crust stayed crisp — so delicious haha.

Who should visit Hippy in Jeonpo?

Hippy, which I'd been curious about every time I saw it at department store pop-ups, I finally got to try!! I enjoyed the fig cream pudding pie so much I'm planning to try the other cream pies one by one next time haha.

The store is spacious and there's a separate space inside, so it's good for solo café visits and also fine to stop by while on a date in Jeonpo! If you're browsing Jeonpo's shops and looking for a café to grab something sweet, I recommend Hippy haha.
