But there's a place where you can enjoy peanut bread all year round, so I went to check it out. Unlike most peanut breads where you have to hunt for a stray peanut or two, this one is genuinely packed with peanuts. Let me introduce it!

Daeshin Peanut Bread Busan Seomyeon Branch is located at 20 Seojeon-ro, Busanjin-gu, Busan, and is open from 10 AM to 8 PM. It's regularly closed on Sundays, and a sign said it would also be closed September 25–27 for the Chuseok holiday.

I visited Daeshin Peanut Bread, a favorite for anyone looking for a simple bite among Seomyeon's iconic street food.

This place seems to trace its roots back to Seomun Market in Daegu.

While we were ordering and waiting, some foreign tourists came in too — this place seems to already be well known among international visitors.

Beyond peanut bread: roasted peanuts and 100% peanut butter

One side of Daeshin Peanut Bread Seomyeon Branch was stacked full of peanuts, which are also sold there.

They said I could try some, so I had a taste. Honestly I expected nothing special, but it was surprisingly sweet — haha, what a discovery.

As a Seomyeon snack, the peanut bread comes with its own separate packing box, which is nice. They also sell additive-free peanut butter — 100% peanut, which makes it even better.

The egg bread looked delicious too. Egg bread seems like a solid, filling option for anyone busy and hungry with no time to spare. There's latte here too, so you could pair them together.

If you're taking it home to eat later, they say using a microwave or air fryer brings it back to that freshly baked taste.

Box packing at Daeshin Peanut Bread starts at 80 pieces

Box packing is available once you buy 80 pieces. If you feel there are too many peanuts, they'll adjust and bake it lighter for you — just ask the owner.

I got the 80-piece box packed. It was the first time in my life I'd bought this much peanut bread haha, and I was overwhelmed by the sheer quantity haha.

80 pieces really is a lot haha. You don't have to eat them all at once — freeze them and pull a few out whenever you're having coffee.

How many peanuts are actually inside one peanut bread?

Once I got the box home, I kept pulling pieces out to eat haha. The first time I opened one up, I was shocked — I'd never seen peanut bread with this many peanuts packed in haha.

And it's not just one lucky piece — almost all 80 of them are packed full like that.

When I opened the box at home, my youngest was completely stunned. I used to buy this for the little one a lot during winters out on the street haha.

Why are there so many peanuts in this?

That was literally the first thing said the moment they saw it haha. There really are that many in there — shockingly so haha.

After dinner, I pulled out a big batch of Daeshin Peanut Bread, Seomyeon's signature street food. I took out a lot, and I was still surprised how much was left over haha.

The kids were thrilled with the snack we brought home from Seomyeon haha. There was so much that I put some in zipper bags and froze it.

When I served it on a tray alongside the kids' meal, they loved it haha. It filled up a table that would've otherwise looked a bit bare, working almost like a side dish haha.

At home, using an air fryer or microwave makes it taste even better. I actually took mine straight out of the freezer and ate it as-is — it wasn't even frozen solid and still tasted great. So convenient.
