Late-night perilla cream pasta and kaya toast at Ganbame, Busan

Looking for a good-vibe bar near Jeonpo Station

I was looking for a nice bar near Jeonpo Station in Busan and ended up at Ganbame! Jeonpo is a neighborhood full of young people, so there are so many pretty, atmospheric bars around — and Ganbame won me over the moment I walked in.

The overall vibe is warm and cozy but also stylish, perfect for drinks and conversation. There were plenty of young customers when I visited, so yeah, it really lives up to being a Jeonpo hotspot. Lots of tables full of friends drinking together, some couples on dates too — I'd definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a bar near Jeonpo Station in Busan.

So many anju options, it's fun just picking

What I loved most about Ganbame was the range of anju (drinking snacks)! Some bars have a pretty limited menu, but here you've got everything from light bites to hearty, meal-like dishes, so choosing was genuinely fun. I went with the two I was most excited about: kaya butter toast and perilla cream pasta.

Kaya butter toast — add ice cream and the soju just flows

First up, the kaya butter toast! It arrives golden-brown and looking so good, and with kaya (coconut jam) and butter spread on top, it's sweet and savory in just the right balance. Crispy outside, soft inside, with that distinctive kaya sweetness plus buttery richness — I couldn't stop reaching for more!!!!! Add a little ice cream on top and the soju just goes down smooth!

And then!!! The must-order dish at Ganbame — the perilla cream pasta! Honestly, of everything I had that night, this was my absolute favorite. Wow… it was genuinely delicious. 😍

Perilla cream pasta was the pick of the night

Soft, thick cream sauce with the distinctive nutty flavor of perilla — the combination was so much better than I expected. It has a completely different charm from a regular cream pasta. Thanks to the perilla, that nutty flavor really comes through while still keeping the sauce's smoothness — the kind of taste you just keep going back for!

The pasta was generously coated in sauce too, so every bite was thick and nutty. If you visit Ganbame, I have to recommend the perilla cream pasta! Personally, of everything I ate that night, this was the best by far. 👍

Friendly service, right down to bringing a blanket

Beyond the food, the staff were really kind too. Service overall was friendly, but the guy at the counter in particular stood out — he brought us a blanket and kept smiling the whole time, haha. Not sure if he was the owner, but the way he took care of guests was great, and honestly, he was handsome on top of being kind, which just made everything feel even better? 😂 Good food matters, but when the staff are this friendly, you leave in a good mood too.

Friends' night out or a date — either works

Overall, Ganbame was a bar near Jeonpo Station in Busan that delivered on atmosphere, food, and service. It's a great spot when you want to soak in Jeonpo's young, lively energy with good anju and a drink in hand. Comfortable enough for a casual night with friends, but also nice enough for a date to enjoy the vibe!
