Nampo-dong karaoke bar: seafood jjamppong noodles, Juju Norae Town

Today I went to Juju Norae Town, a bar in Nampo-dong, Busan!

Free soju if you arrive before 8pm?

Oh, before going in I spotted this sign — guests who arrive before 8pm get a free bottle of soju or a 500cc draft, one or the other! Isn't that great? And weekdays are unlimited too~~ But I went on a weekend, ugh. If I'd gone on a weekday I would've genuinely played until morning.

We went up to the 4th floor and went in, and wow — it was so pleasant, no smell at all, clean, everything was great.

Isn't it genuinely spacious, tidy and clean? Everything is so well maintained. The interior is clean and stylish~

The side dishes were so varied too — ugh, why did the Cajun salad catch my eye, I never even eat salad normally lol. And personally I really liked that they had a mini fruit option. Honestly ordering fruit as a main dish is too much quantity, but when you're eating other things and start craving fruit but a full-size order feels like too much, that mini fruit is perfect!

One song as soon as we sat down, then club mode

Should we sing a song before the drinks and food even arrive!? It's the essential first step whenever we drink, so I was already excited before even sitting down haha.

We're really good at using this feature too — apparently when we get drunk we want to go clubbing, because we just kept playing club mode over and over, causing chaos ;

What comes with the basic side dishes?

Right when we started singing, the basic side dishes arrived lol. Still, so generous — tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes), fried eggs, patbingsu (shaved ice), bungeoppang (fish-shaped pastry), and even ramyeon, wonderful. And they even gave us an egg with the ramyeon?? This is the first place I've been where they give you an egg (based on the places I've been haha). The fried egg with Juju was so good ◡̈

That old-style patbingsu was so good after not having it in a while? These days there are so many fruit bingsu places that you don't really go for the old-fashioned kind anymore, so seeing it here was nice, and eating it after a while was sweet and delicious, anyway lol.

Whoa, that girl is intense — singing such a high note right off the bat, her throat's gonna go from the first song, you rascal.

How was the seafood jjamppong?

Wow, the colors are so wild ,, it's so real, isn't it — I wanted to take a pretty photo but everyone was busy singing, classic private-room-soju-bar food photo situation ; you can't see the true color but it looks spicy and satisfying~~

There was more crab and mussel in it than I expected, and with the bean sprouts it had that refreshing hangover-curing taste lol. Eating this cured my hangover so much I might start drinking again.

Egg ramyeon cooked right at the table

After eating and drinking hard, singing, and dancing a bit to help digest, my friend said she was hungry and made ramyeon lol. On top of that she cracked in an egg and cooked it up properly — whoa, she even got the water ratio just right, it was so good.

Kkwabaegi dipped in chocolate syrup

While we were still singing and having fun, someone knocked and came in with these kkwabaegi lol lol lol — wait, when did anyone order this?? The hand is faster than the eye (?)

...but it was actually good, whoever ordered it made a good call. Warm, and dipping it in the chocolate syrup that came with it gave me a sugar rush and my energy came right back. Solved the carb craving that hits when you're drunk!!

Ice cream to finish it off

Oh, and there was even ice cream to finish? The owner has such good taste (ദ്ദി˙ᗜ˙) We paid for an extra hour, played until we were satisfied, and walked out each holding an ice cream. It had been a while since I went to a private-room soju bar, and I had such a fun time there haha.
