In short
Bacha Jeongja is a fusion bar in Jeongja-dong, Seongnam, a 3-minute walk from Exit 3 of Jeongja Station. On a cool evening, the writer brought her husband and dog to an outdoor table for mentaiko bacon cream pasta, melon jamón, a Jim Beam yuzu highball, cream draft beer, and hoddeok (Korean sweet pancake) ice cream. The weather's gotten so cool lately, perfect for sitting at an outdoor table. My last visit left such a good impression that I went straight back to Bacha, a bar in Jeongja-dong, with my husband and our dog this time haha. The vibe didn't disappoint at all — I was thrilled from the very first impression ✨
Getting to Bacha Jeongja from Jeongja Station
It's a 3-minute walk from Exit 3 of Jeongja Station, where the Suin-Bundang Line and Sinbundang Line meet.

Head toward Emco Heritz from the Solbat Samgyeopsal intersection, and the blue neon sign catches your eye right away, so it's easy to find.

A black-concept interior and outdoor tables

Walking inside, the black-concept space is still spacious and comfortable. Since this Jeongja-dong bar was designed by a developer of 8 years who's also a UX designer, the layout flows really conveniently and the interior feels sharp and stylish.

There are especially nice outdoor tables set up outside, and sipping a drink out there in the cool air was seriously art haha 👍👍
Table-top induction stoves and a semi-private room

Every table has a built-in modern induction stove, so it's safe and tidy. You can order comfortably from the tablet at each table without feeling self-conscious about picking things.

Besides the main hall, there's also a separate semi-private room inside, which would be more than enough for a work dinner or a group gathering.
The menu lineup at Bacha Jeongja

From the signature seafood steam dish to chadolssal bone marrow hotpot and red seafood gambas, there's a wide variety of fusion dishes that go perfectly with drinks. There are also tons of cocktails, highballs, and whiskeys, all at reasonable prices, so it's great for taking care of round one through round three all in one place.
Mentaiko bacon cream pasta

The first thing I ordered on this revisit was the mentaiko bacon cream pasta. I picked it because I'd never tried it before!

With mentaiko (seasoned pollock roe) mixed in, it's salty, and the sauce is so thick and savory that the look of it alone was insane.

The salty mentaiko and bacon blended perfectly with the cream sauce, and I let out a gasp the moment I took the first bite ㅠㅠ Amazing!
Melon jamón, highball, and cream draft beer

This is a dish with jamón and cheese piled generously on top of sweet melon.

It's the textbook definition of sweet-and-salty, and it was the best thing to pick at as a side dish for drinks.

Pairing this with a Jim Beam yuzu highball and a cool cream draft beer, all my stress just melted away!
Finishing with hoddeok ice cream

The hoddeok (Korean sweet pancake) ice cream we finished with was so sweet, it tasted like honey 🍦

Cutting it up with scissors and eating it with a drink was perfect for me, since I love sweets!! 🩷
Why the revisit was so good
The food is delicious, no question, and the portions are generous too, so this revisit was another big success!

Sitting at an outdoor table enjoying drinks in the cool breeze is genuinely the best. This place nails the atmosphere, the taste, and the value, so I fall for it every time I come. I'm officially calling Bacha a must-visit bar in Jeongja-dong!
It's great as a romantic date spot to enjoy quietly with a partner, and it's also perfect for chatting excitedly with friends or for a work dinner.

If you're looking for a bar in Jeongja-dong, you absolutely have to check this place out!
The food was so good and I keep thinking about the outdoor-seating mood, so I've already decided to go again with friends next week haha.

If you're also looking for a great-atmosphere spot on a cool evening, I'd definitely recommend stopping by!
