Walk in a bit further and there's an outdoor bench area set up as friendly as the old neighborhood store benches ⛱️ This right here — this is what I came to eat at‼️ The vibe is insane... This is a spot you have to visit in this kind of weather!! On a cool evening like this, catching the night breeze while enjoying the mood — such a perfect spot 🥹

The moment I stepped inside, it felt like walking into grandma's house with the retro shell-inlay cabinets and cozy interior‼️ Weirdly enough it just made me feel at home haha

Once inside, the interior had its own different charm too. So today I decided to put the outdoor bench seating aside for a bit and sit inside the store instead‼️

Inside Juyukjeom it's retro, emotional, and hip! It was fun finding a spot in every corner haha. Great for a cozy date, good for group gatherings too, and good for family gatherings — most tables seated 4 to 5 people.

A bite of sweet, moist soy-marinated meat paired with icy kimchi noodle soup. Such a perfect combo‼️‼️

The basic side dishes were set neatly, and the kimchi noodle soup we ordered came out first.

How the black pork and kimchi noodle soup taste

Ta-da ~ our ordered dishes arrived. The broth has floating ice chips — taking that first sip cools you down all the way to your head with a tangy sweetness‼️

Wrap a piece of black pork with kimchi and pickled radish over the chewy noodles and eat together — the combo of sweet-salty and tangy is the best 👍🏻👍🏻

There's a soy sauce base with onion and bean sprouts underneath! Wrap the softened onion and bean sprouts around the meat and enjoy that sweet-salty flavor haha

Eating this sweet, savory special soy sauce marinade with rice makes you devour all your rice... and eating it with drinks makes you devour all your drinks too haha, it's so good...

Wrap a full piece of meat in a lettuce leaf and eat‼️ Finish it off cleanly with the icy noodle broth!!
