Suwon café drive with double cream bagels: Orange Bagel

In short

Orange Bagel is a large bagel café near Omokcheon Station in Suwon, Gyeonggi. I paired Double Cream and Butter Laugen bagels with an iced Americano, then looked around the spacious seating and New York-inspired souvenir corner. Orange Bagel is a lovely pick for a drive or date.

The weather has suddenly gotten so nice lately! Staying home on days like this can feel a little gloomy, and it was perfect driving weather, so while looking for places to visit in Gyeonggi-do this September, I decided to head to Orange Bagel!! Those of you who know it, know it—but Orange Bagel is one of those cafés near Omokcheon Station in Gyeonggi-do with such a lovely, exotic atmosphere!!

Orange brick exterior and a drive-worthy atmosphere

I found this as an easy September driving destination in Gyeonggi-do! Since it is a large café, parking is available, and above all, the building was so pretty with its exotic look!! Maybe because the sky has been so beautiful lately, the orange bricks really stood out and were so charming!! Whether it was the orange brickwork or the slightly foreign feel, I absolutely loved it!! It is such a bright orange building that photos taken outside would come out beautifully too—I was completely won over!!

Once you walk in, there are all these different bagels waiting for you!! Orange Bagel bakes its bagels fresh every morning, so they are such a treat to enjoy!!

Orange Bagel is known as a great bagel spot in Suwon, and I loved that it uses high-protein Canadian and French flour!! The aging and fermentation seemed to make them even tastier!! Bagels can easily turn out dry and bland, so it was great to hear that they take such care with the ingredients themselves!!

A wide bagel selection, from meals to desserts

Orange Bagel, a great bagel spot in Suwon, had such an amazing variety!!

Orange, coffee bun, red bean butter Double cream, shrimp, garlic Deep chocolate, salmon, Laugen, blueberry Plain, raspberry, basil, olive tomato

There were so many varieties, which meant I could choose everything from meal-worthy bagels to dessert bagels—so nice!!

And beyond that, they even had mushroom soup, so you could enjoy a proper meal too!!

Orange Bagel also had a menu item representing Suwon KT!

There was an especially varied selection of coffee and other drinks, and I was curious because they use a Slayer coffee machine—the Porsche of coffee machines!! I also loved that decaf coffee was available!! There were even menu items made with orange, which was lovely!

Spacious seating on two floors and a souvenir shop

There is seating on the first floor too! The black-and-orange interior had such a modern feeling that I loved it!! There were spaces where several people could sit together, so it would be great to visit as a group at this large Suwon café too!!

There was even a souvenir shop tucked inside!! It had such a New York-like vibe, and I loved it!!

There were so many souvenirs with a real New York feel that they made me want to buy everything! Every little detail made this one of my favorite places to visit in Gyeonggi-do this September! There was even a photo zone, so I thought it would be hard to find a better place to stop by while out and about!! The second floor was even more spacious!!! From two-person seats to four-person tables, the tables themselves were comfortable, so it would be a great café near Omokcheon Station for studying too!!

The red brick and cute little details made me love it even more!! It would be such a great spot for a weekend date too!

There are lots of weddings these days, and with group seating like this, it would also be nice for a casual post-wedding gathering! With chandeliers too, each area had such a distinctly different feel! When the weather is awkwardly warm and you want a terrace-like mood, the second floor has seating like this! The checked pattern and large windows that show the sky made the atmosphere feel even better!!

Double Cream and Butter Laugen with coffee

Here are the Double Cream and Butter Laugen bagels I ordered today! Enjoying them with an iced Americano made me like everything even more! As its name suggests, the Double Cream was packed with cream! The cream was very sweet and pleasantly thick, and it was so delicious that I absolutely loved it!!

I also loved the different texture and flavor of this bagel, which was covered in sesame seeds! Orange Bagel develops its own menu items, and the distinctive flavors and textures were both so good!!

Sesame-topped bagel

I chose the Butter Laugen because it looked so good! I loved this rich, buttery feel in a bagel!! Since Laugen itself is savory, it is appealing both as a meal and as a snack!

The butter added so much deliciousness to Laugen's firm, salty texture! The butter melted gently in my mouth, and that savory flavor was so appealing!

Butter Laugen and coffee pairing

The balance was so good that it paired beautifully with coffee too!! Orange Bagel's savory flavors with coffee made for such a satisfying meal!! It had been a while since I visited Orange Bagel as a place to visit in Gyeonggi-do this September, but the bagels were so tasty and the atmosphere was especially lovely that I already want to come back!! If you are looking for a great date café near Omokcheon Station, I totally recommend it—the vibe is amazing!!
