A quiet atmosphere for brunch in Banwoldang
I have been going to Banwoldang quite often lately, and I found a quiet café that is perfect for a light brunch, so I had to visit! Dento is a charming brunch café on Bongsanmunhwa 2-gil, with a neat yet comfortable atmosphere that really appealed to me.
Rather than feeling overly decorated, it has a warm, calm atmosphere, so it would be lovely for chatting with a friend or having a light meal alone at your own pace. You can enjoy sandwiches, coffee, and tea together here, so I recommend it to anyone looking for a new brunch café near Banwoldang Station!

What combinations come with the five bite-size open sandwiches?
What I ordered
- Five bite-size open sandwiches
- Iced drip coffee
- Cool mint blending tea
What I loved about the bite-size open sandwiches right away was getting to try five kinds on one plate. There were pan con tomate, avocado and salmon, romesco roasted vegetables, shrimp rémoulade, and truffle ricotta; each had a different combination of ingredients and flavors, so it was fun choosing them one by one.
The various ingredients were arranged so prettily on the bread that they looked adorable and appetizing, and their bite-size portions made it easy to try a variety without feeling too full!
The owner even gave me a great tip: start with the tomate and finish with the truffle ricotta, which made them even more delicious. (For me, it felt like a combination that starts bright and tangy, then ends sweet? It was absolutely delicious..)
The tableware at this café was truly beautiful. Every plate, glass, coaster, and piece of cutlery was so lovely that you could tell each one had been chosen with care!
Along with the open sandwiches, Dento had a range of choices including a triple cheese sandwich with tomato soup, a grilled shrimp sandwich with mini salad, and an omelet ham and cheese sandwich. There were also sides such as house-made tomato soup, classic French toast, and aioli baby potatoes, so I want to try other dishes on my next visit.

A light afternoon meal with coffee and tea
With such varied ingredient combinations, the five bite-size open sandwiches were colorful and enjoyable. They were light but satisfying, making them just right for brunch. Adding coffee and tea on the side made it feel like a complete, leisurely light afternoon meal!
For anyone who wants to enjoy delicious brunch in a quiet, tidy space, or is looking for a great brunch spot in Banwoldang or a new brunch café near Banwoldang Station, I recommend Dento!
