A Suwon Station café open until 11pm: Hongrad Suwon Station Branch

Hongrad Coffee Suwon Station Branch is a Suwon Station café that stays open late into the evening. Even if you go after a late dinner, the lights are always on, so you can drop by without worry.

It's a bit of a distance from the Suwon Station entrance, but it's about a 10-minute walk. There are lots of good restaurants nearby too, so it's perfect for eating and then heading over.

How the Suwon Station branch compares to Hongrad Ingye-dong

I like Hongrad and visit often, but I mostly go to the Ingye-dong branch, so this was my first time at the Suwon Station branch.

The vibe was cute and similar to the Ingye-dong branch, and the interior was bigger than I expected, with lots of tables. Even late in the evening, there were a lot of customers.

Hongrad's menu: croffles, toast and Basque cheesecake

Hongrad really has so many delicious menu items. Especially full of desserts that women would love ~ coming here makes my head spin haha. The croffle menu is really good, and the toast menu is also really good, so all you have to do is pick a kind.

Hongrad's main events are croffles and toast for dessert, so I hadn't really paid attention to the showcase before, but there was a Basque cheesecake!? Good news for anyone who loves a dense, rich Basque cheesecake.

Browsing the café like a prop shop

Full of cute little props >,.< it's a place that's fun to browse. Kind of like browsing a prop shop..? There's surprisingly a lot of items to look at, and the prices are low so buying something doesn't feel like a burden.

What we ordered and how the decaf option works

Since it was a café visit in the evening, I ordered decaf. For an extra ₩500, any coffee menu item can be switched to decaf — when I visit a café at night, I always check whether they have decaf coffee, and Hongrad has it!!

The coconut latte was my husband's pick~!! Just looking at it made it seem delicious. Perfect when you're craving something sweet! The coconut flavor was strong too. Since decaf was possible, it felt less of a burden to drink in the evening. The beans were good too haha.

Hongrad's desserts are delicious no matter when you eat them, ㅠㅠ. I used to be really into croffles, but now I'm into the toast. What I ordered this time was Hongrad toast with injeolmi (sweet rice cake) and red bean♡ There are so many kinds that ordering something different every time is also an option!

Hongrad toast, packed with everything I love! It's topped with injeolmi and rice cake, red bean, nuts, and an ice cream topping. An absolutely can't-miss menu item >0<// For someone who loves rice cakes and bread like me, this might be the best menu item.. haha

So much injeolmi powder is sprinkled on top that you'll cough like you're eating Sulbing shaved ice ;; hahaha (eat carefully)

Whatever they spread inside the toast is seriously so good ㅠㅠ Tell me the secret, Hongrad~~ The bread is also grilled so well that it's crispy and chewy ㅠㅠ It was seriously so sweet and delicious!! It kind of tastes like honey rice cake too..? Maxed out on sweetness

With the red bean in there too, it was truly an unmissable dessert — I basically inhaled it like someone who hadn't eaten in days. Sweet + sweet = seriously so good.

It's also not overwhelmingly sweet, so it goes perfectly with coffee. Whether you go during the day or at night, Hongrad is always bustling — a café I visited out of curiosity because it was so popular. And that's how I ended up becoming a regular. This was my Hongrad review.
