Suwon Station LP café for a blind date: decaf Americano at Hongrad

Today I want to introduce a great-vibe café I've visited again and again — it's actually where I went for a blind date, haha. The atmosphere and coffee were so good it worked perfectly for a blind date, and I liked it enough that I've gone back since.

Hongrad Suwon Station Branch is a well-known spot near Suwon Station, in the Suwon Haenggung-dong area. Hours are daily 12:00–23:00, and the address is 61-1 Hyanggyo-ro, Paldal-gu, Suwon, Gyeonggi, South Korea, 2nd floor.

This place is bursting with American vibes, seriously! The moment you walk in you feel it, plus the LP player quietly playing music in the background~~ The atmosphere was so good that sipping a coffee and relaxing here felt great!

Is Hongrad a good blind date and date spot near Suwon Station?

Hongrad Suwon Station is great for a date, and just as good if you want to enjoy some solo café time. Maybe that's why it was packed with people even on a weekday, haha. I guess a good-vibe café never runs out of visitors, weekday or not. It's a nice spot to rest during Suwon Station shopping street sightseeing, and I'd recommend it for blind dates or date spots too!

The menu had a nice variety — cafe drinks, tea, desserts. Beyond coffee there's a range of teas, and desserts include croffles, brownies, and cheesecake, perfect when you want something sweet, haha. It's a café where you can properly enjoy a cup of coffee with dessert. Also, writing a Naver receipt review gets you a cute little badge, haha.

The goods corner that makes Hongrad feel like a gift shop

Hongrad Suwon Station also has pretty goods and knick-knacks on display, and it's genuinely fun to browse. No need to hunt down a separate little goods shop — you can drink coffee and check out cute items in the same place. If you like browsing this kind of stuff, time will fly here. It felt more like a goods shop than a café at times, which I loved!

And the cheesecake that really nails the American vibe🇺🇸 There's even a little American flag stuck on top of the cheesecake, so cute! What can I say about this cheesecake... it just melts in your mouth. Little details like this really bring out Hongrad's own vibe, haha.

And the brownie ice cream — this is already my n-th visit ordering this one, haha. It's just too delicious, so I end up ordering it every time. The combo of a dense, fudgy brownie with ice cream needs no explanation... and they even put a cute character on top of the ice cream, so the visuals are adorable too, haha. If you come to Hongrad, you have to try the brownie ice cream!!

This time I wrote a Naver receipt review and got the cute cat "Ku"!! It's just too cute, haha. Now I'll have three collected soon!! I might just keep coming back to Hongrad for the fun of collecting these cute goods, haha.
