Quiet Suwon café with coconut peach latte: Tteum Café by Oneplay

I visited the Lady Furniture Suwon directly operated store because I wanted to see baby cribs in person. Rather than only looking online, I wanted to see and touch them and compare them for myself, so I went to the showroom—and discovered there was a café inside. I happened to want coffee too, so I stopped in for a short break. The atmosphere was nicer than I expected, and both the coffee and desserts were delicious, so I was very happy with it. The place we visited was Tteum Café by Oneplay Suwon Station.

What is the café inside the Lady Furniture showroom like?

At first, since it was a café inside a furniture showroom, I thought it would be a place for simple drinks only. But once I went in, there was a varied menu as well as plenty of desserts, so it felt like a much more fully equipped café than I had expected.

Perhaps because the showroom itself was so neatly arranged, the café also had a clean, calm atmosphere overall. Rather than a bustling café, it felt well suited to people who want to sit quietly with a cup of coffee and rest. It was great for a brief break while looking around the showroom, as we did, and it also seemed like a nice place to spend time leisurely over a delicious dessert. So I would also like to recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet café near Suwon Station.

How does parking work?

If you are visiting by car, it is worth checking the parking information beforehand. You can enter the officetel's underground parking lot. The first 30 minutes are free, and after that there is an additional fee of ₩510 per 10 minutes. The maximum parking fee is ₩30,000.

For café customers, they register parking for up to one hour, so café visitors may want to keep that in mind. If you are planning to visit the furniture showroom as well, like we were, knowing the parking information beforehand should make the visit more comfortable.

What we ordered

The three things we ordered that day were an ice cream croffle, a Milano Blend Americano, and a coconut peach latte. We had meant to have just a cup of coffee, but there were so many desserts that we ended up ordering a croffle too.

What does the Milano Blend Americano taste like?

First, we tried the Milano Blend Americano. As you would expect from a premium coffee shop, the coffee was quite good. It was an Americano with the nutty, deep flavor that I like. Rather than sharp acidity, it centered on a smooth, nutty flavor, so it was easy to drink.

It paired especially well with dessert, too. Personally, when I am having a sweet dessert like a croffle, I find it a little disappointing if the coffee is too light or acidic. The Milano Blend had a nutty, deep taste, though, so it made a great combination with the sweet dessert. If coffee flavor matters to you, I think the Americano is worth trying.

What is the coconut peach latte like?

The drink that stayed with me most that day was the coconut peach latte. Just from the name, I wondered whether coconut and peach would really work together, but the combination was much better than expected. The latte had a fairly rich coconut flavor, and pieces of peach came through now and then, making the texture fun too. The coconut's distinctive sweet, nutty taste worked surprisingly well with the peach's fresh sweetness.

Personally, I prefer drinks that are a little different from the usual latte, so I really enjoyed it. What I especially liked was that it uses lactose-free milk. Because I am lactose intolerant, milk can sometimes be a concern when I order a latte at a café, so I liked that they use lactose-free milk—it felt like they had considered even those details. I liked this menu item for the flavor as well as the thought put into the milk choice.

The ice cream croffle combination

The ice cream croffle we ordered for dessert was delicious too. It was a croffle with a crisp exterior topped with ice cream, making it just right to have with coffee. The croffle was good, but I especially liked the ice cream. Its texture was slightly chewier than typical ice cream, and the vanilla flavor felt quite refined.

It was not simply sweet vanilla ice cream; its characteristic vanilla flavor came through gently, and it was delicious. Eating the warm, crisp croffle with cold, chewy ice cream really was a foolproof dessert combination. With the Americano, the coffee's nutty flavor and the ice cream's sweetness went very well together.

A café with a wide dessert selection

One thing I liked about Tteum Café by Oneplay Suwon Station was its wide range of desserts. We ordered the ice cream croffle, but there were many other desserts prepared too, so I would like to try other menu items on a future visit.

Sometimes you like the coffee at a café but are disappointed by the limited dessert choices. Here, I liked that you can choose from several options according to your taste. I think it would suit people who want to enjoy their café time with a delicious dessert rather than just having coffee.

Above all, the overall atmosphere was quiet and calm, making it a nice place to enjoy coffee and dessert at an unhurried pace. If you are looking for a Suwon Station café that is not too noisy, or one where you can enjoy good coffee alongside a variety of desserts, I recommend Tteum Café by Oneplay Suwon Station.
