An ocean-view restaurant after a walk at Songdo Beach

Today, I visited Plan A Restaurant (플랜에이레스토랑), right by Songdo Beach in Pohang! Songdo Beach is quite a well-known beach in Pohang, and I stopped by with my mom to look at the sea and take a walk—then we found this ocean-view restaurant, haha.

Walking along the sea is lovely, but? Since we were already there, I thought it would be even better to enjoy a delicious meal while looking out at the water! And when they say it is an ocean-view spot with all the vibes, how could I not go in..?🫢

Once inside, it had the cute, cozy feel of a family restaurant. The snug interior and wide-open sea view worked so well together that I kept looking outside..🫢 We arrived around 5 p.m., a little early for dinner, but there were already guests out for an evening meal, and I spotted reserved seats by the ocean-view side too 👀

With a view like this.. anything would taste good, honestly.. I recently watched the movie Odyssey, and the sea spread out before me that day felt exactly like a scene from it, so I loved it even more. Even on a day with the wind blowing fiercely? Looking at it through the window made it pretty—magic😅 (I came to eat and just kept staring at the sea lol)

Songdo Beach stretched right out in front of us, and I loved being able to eat with such an open view! With scenery like this, it would be great for a date, or just right for taking your parents out for a family meal 👏🏻 Add a beach walk before or after your meal, and you could spend an even more relaxed time there.

A self-service bar for aprons and pickles

By the way, the self-service bar has aprons ready, and you can help yourself to more pickles. If you run out while eating, it is handy that you can simply take as much as you want without having to ask the staff separately 🙆🏼

Chicken salad and two kinds of pasta

At last, the chicken salad arrived! It was topped with crisp romaine and crunchy fried chicken karaage (Japanese-style fried chicken), making it perfect as an appetizer 🤤 The crisp vegetables and crunchy chicken went so nicely together.

The dressing seemed to be mustard and balsamic sauce. The tangy sweetness came together really well. When I have pasta, ordering a fresh salad is essential 🫶🏻

We ordered the spicy shrimp pasta and beef cream pasta! Don't they look ridiculously appetizing..?🫢

Putting the whole spread together like this gives it such a nice Insta-worthy vibe..⭐️
