Pangyo Station pub with open-door patio vibes and draft beer: Bacha

The fall weather has been amazing lately and I've been feeling so upbeat, haha! And you know what you can't skip on days like this?? Open-air bars(❁´◡`❁) Sipping draft beer with delicious snacks while a breeze blows by is always happy 🎵🤩🎵

So I thought, I can't miss this season!! I looked for somewhere I could go straight after work ~~ and ended up visiting Bacha Pangyo Branch, a dining bar near Pangyo Station! The dishes were really tasty and they kept the doors wide open so it felt like an open-air spot. Let me introduce Bacha Pangyo Branch before it gets colder!

This is what Bacha Pangyo Branch looks like, about a 5-minute walk from Pangyo Station! With the doors flung wide open like this, it looks so breezy and nice, haha.

Starting with seafood stew and seafood tteokjjim, they also serve pasta, pork jowl, and all kinds of meal-worthy dishes and drinking snacks! There's such a wide variety of drinks too, so if you come with a group, everyone would probably be happy(^///^)

Full by 6:30 pm: why you should reserve Bacha Pangyo Branch

Bacha the dining bar is so popular that when we arrived at 6:30 pm, every table was already reserved!! Luckily we had booked ahead, so we got a good seat without waiting 😊 Everyone, especially groups, should really book through Catch Table before coming!!

Here's the menu at Bacha, the Pangyo Station bar! First off, they have separate review perks for Naver, Kakao, and Catch Table, which is so nice! Make sure to leave reviews and grab them all, haha. There are also a lot of main dishes — mostly seafood-based, but plenty of non-seafood options too, so it's nice to mix and match!

First we ordered two glasses of draft beer! Under ₩5,000 a glass!! I approve — this is a great-value Pangyo bar 🎵👍

Beef brisket and seafood tteokjjim cooked on the induction table

Then the beef tendon seafood tteokjjim (rice cake stew) came out! Amazingly, the table suddenly turned into an induction burner!!!! It was so convenient and great!

With squid and beef tendon as the main players plus a bunch of other seafood, rice cakes, and fish cake packed in, the broth was really spicy and refreshing, so good, haha. It felt like it was curing my hangover just eating it?

Once the squid is cooked, they cut it up into bite-sized pieces for you 🎵 The perk of coming with your sister — obviously she does the cutting, hahahaha.

How does the sous vide pork jowl with chive salad taste?

And while we were eating the seafood tteokjjim, the pork jowl and chive salad arrived! I really love pork jowl, haha. How do I put it... that chewy yet slightly crumbly, yet still tender texture is exactly my type, lol.

Eating it together with the chive salad it came with — pure honey flavor! The portion seemed pretty generous too! We were so hungry we ordered two mains and ended up drinking less than expected, lol. It'd be great to come here lightly as a second-round spot, order a main, and just drink!

A Pangyo Station pub that works for team dinners and dates

I highly recommend the seafood tteokjjim topped whole with beef brisket, clams, and whole squid!! Just so you know, it's not the super-sweet tteokbokki flavor — it feels more like a spicy, hearty meal that works as a drinking snack! Overall the food is really solid and filling, so it's a great spot to visit as both a meal and a bar! With the perfect cozy atmosphere on top(❁´◡`❁), I recommend Bacha Pangyo Branch, the Pangyo Station dining bar, for company dinners and dates alike!👍🎵
