Cheonan café with group tables and public parking: Andamiro Pancake

Today I visited Andamiro Pancake, a famous soufflé spot in Cheonan. While traveling around Cheonan and wondering which café to try, I really wanted something sweet, so I went straight to Andamiro Pancake, known as the best soufflé place in Cheonan haha.

Where is Andamiro Pancake Cheonan, and where do you park?

Andamiro Pancake Cheonan is on the 2nd floor at 11 Meokgeori4-gil, Dongnam-gu, Cheonan-si, Chungcheongnam-do, in Sinbu-dong. Hours are 13:00–22:00, and it's closed every Tuesday.

This Sinbu-dong café in Cheonan has plenty of good restaurants and things to do nearby, so I'd recommend it as a Cheonan date course haha.

For parking at this Cheonan soufflé spot, you can use Sinbu Public Parking Lot No. 4 right next door! It's really close on foot from the café and the parking fee is cheap too, which was so nice haha.

Inside the café: window seats and tables for groups

The inside of Andamiro Pancake Cheonan is clean and warm overall, though the number of tables is moderate haha. One side of the café has a full window wall, giving it an open feel, and the tables aren't packed too close together, so it's easy to chat.

There are also tables good for larger groups, so it seems like a nice place to come with several people and chat away haha.

What three of us ordered and how long the wait was

Just a heads-up, since Andamiro Pancake, a top soufflé spot in Cheonan, cooks everything made-to-order, it takes about 20 to 30 minutes!

While we waited for the soufflé, our drinks came out first. The cold tea had a subtle, pleasant aroma that made it nice to sip leisurely, and the coffee was nutty without any sourness, easy to drink cleanly while we waited for the soufflé.

Since the drinks come out first, it was nice to sip tea and chat while the soufflé was being prepared. The soufflé doesn't come out right away, so it's best to visit with the mindset of waiting comfortably from the start haha.

How did the Andamiro Soufflé Pancake taste?

Finally, the Andamiro Soufflé Pancake we ordered arrived!

The pancake on the plate was thicker and puffier than a regular pancake, and honestly just from the look of it, there's no way it wouldn't taste good 🤩

When you press it lightly with a fork, it sinks in softly and then bounces back up, so you can visually see that light, airy soufflé texture. Whipped cream and fruit are served on top, so you can enjoy it in different combinations instead of just eating the plain pancake haha.

When you cut a piece with a fork, instead of the firm cut of a regular pancake, it's a soft, fluffy texture that gives way easily 💗 Taking a bite, it's really light and soft, melting away in your mouth — seriously so good...!! 🤤

You can subtly taste the distinctive eggy aroma and light, savory flavor of a soufflé, and adding whipped cream brings extra sweetness. My friend who came along was trying soufflé for the first time and said it was so good haha. It's not heavy or dry at all, so you keep reaching for more and it disappears in no time.

The best order to eat the fruit and whipped cream

Eating the soufflé alone is mostly about the light, mellow flavor, but pairing it with the fruit that comes on the side adds a refreshing note that matched really well. Put a piece of fruit on the soft pancake with some whipped cream, and the sweetness combined with the fruit's tartness in between makes it even more delicious haha.

Personally, I liked the soft texture of the soufflé itself so much that I'd recommend trying it plain first without adding much, then pairing it with whipped cream or fruit afterward ‼️ The flavor changes a bit depending on the combination, so you can enjoy one dish in several different ways!

Andamiro Pancake has a spacious interior and big windows that keep the mood from feeling stuffy, so it was a great place to spend time relaxing at a café haha. Best of all, since the soufflé pancake is cooked right when you order it, even with a bit of a wait, you get to eat it warm and fluffy.
