Since my hair is semi-wavy, the sections where the curl didn't take were smoothed out calmly with a flat iron.

After the neutralizing process, they finished with an acid rinse! An acid rinse balances the hair's pH, which apparently prevents the curl from loosening and leaves the hair looking glossy and smooth.

At this point, when I went to shampoo, it turned out to be a massage shampoo chair. It felt so refreshing. These little touches of service throughout made the whole experience even better. And so, here's the finished hair — ta-da~

How the finished CS-curl magic setting perm turned out

I loved how naturally the curls came out, and I loved it even more because the black dye barely faded at all! On top of that, my hair condition got so much better. I was genuinely surprised at how much better it looked compared to before the perm.

The whole thing took about 2 hours 30 minutes, and they went through home styling and care tips thoroughly too, so it was refreshing and I ended up with such pretty hair — I was really happy!
