Daegu family restaurant with stone-plate chicken rice: Etrenne Jukjeon

Today I want to introduce Etrenne, a lasagna spot near Jukjeon Station that I visited with my little ones.

This place specializes in steak and spaghetti, but I have to say — their lasagna is seriously incredible! We went for dinner as a bit of a date night with the kids to Etrenne, the spaghetti and lasagna spot near Jukjeon Station!

How to find Etrenne Jukjeon Branch, and where to park

No worries about parking — if you park at the shopping complex's lot, it's free. It might take a bit of time to find though; it's right across from the parking lot, on the side with Jojo Kalguksu (a noodle soup restaurant). Hahaha!

Apparently 'Etrenne' means 'gift' in French — this little restaurant near Jukjeon Station hopes every day is a gift full of love. I'm just grateful for that thought.

Half potato, half meat: how the lasagna is ordered

First off, we ordered what the kids love! Since this is supposedly THE lasagna spot near Jukjeon Station, we couldn't not order it! Hahaha! There were three kinds — including potato and meat — so we went with a combo!

This lasagna is genuinely gorgeous and tastes just as amazing — if you go to Etrenne, you absolutely have to order this! LOL!

Butter-grilled starter bread and a plate of fries

Etrenne Jukjeon Branch also gives you starter bread — butter-grilled bread. Even the kids praised the bread itself as delicious! We came straight from swimming so we were starving, but even so, I could tell the food quality here was on another level!

Next up, fries! Perfect for rounding out the flavors at a reasonable price — how could it not be?!

Kid #2 absolutely loves fries! Dipped in ketchup, of course, but it's one of those must-order menu items.

Toowoomba pasta, Shanghai pasta and stone-plate chicken rice

And since Etrenne — this date-night favorite near Jukjeon Station — is known for steak and spaghetti, ordering spaghetti was a must~

Spaghetti! Kid #2 loves a thick, creamy pasta, so they went with the Toowoomba pasta~ They were amazed at how thick the noodles were~ Hahaha!

Once the spread was mostly set and we were about to dig in, of course we couldn't skip rice — we're Korean, after all — so we ordered one rice dish too!

Chicken rice! It comes out on a stone plate so you can eat it piping hot, which I loved, and it keeps the rice nice and chewy — another win!

And Kid #1 ordered the Shanghai pasta!

These two eat a lot, so I wondered if we'd over-ordered a bit?? I worried slightly, but I figured they'd finish it all~ LOL

Since we never make Western-style food at home, whenever we eat out the kids always go for spaghetti and dishes like this~

The kids' verdict: a spot in their top three restaurants

As they ate, they rated it among themselves as a place that could make the top three restaurants they've ever been to~ They said it's absolutely worth coming back to, LOL

Every dish had that taste where you can tell it was made fresh and with care! LOL

Is Etrenne Jukjeon Branch better for family dinner or a date?

The kids love Etrenne Jukjeon Branch, but honestly, I think this is really the kind of place my wife would love too~ In other words, a place women genuinely enjoy! So if you pick this as your date spot, I think you're guaranteed praise from your girlfriend. Prices aren't too high either, so you won't feel burdened, and you can try a good variety of dishes!

Every dish here is packed with love and care — small but mighty, this date-night favorite near Jukjeon Station. I strongly recommend visiting at least once~ A Jukjeon-negeori date spot I'd very happily revisit! Love you, Etrenne~~ Wishing the young chefs great success!!
