I was walking around the area when I got lured in by an amazing smell, and I went straight into Daily Fix, a burger restaurant in Sharosu-gil near Seoul National University Entrance Station! The smell of grilling patties was insanely appetizing, and when I actually ate it, the taste matched the smell exactly! So I had a satisfying, filling lunch~ This place has juicy, golden-brown handmade burgers, making it a great spot for a solo lunch!

This is the burger restaurant in Sharosu-gil I came across while walking from the subway station! The smell of grilling meat patties was so intense that I couldn't resist getting lunch right then and there~ The delicious smell was just wafting through the air!

Is Daily Fix a good place to eat alone?

Daily Fix Seoul National University Entrance has 2-person and 4-person tables, along with bar tables that are great for sitting alone. Walking in naturally, I liked the casual, bright vibe of the Daily Fix space! The interior and the music both had a comfortable, lively mood! The bar tables where you can eat solo have great atmosphere too~

Plus, it opens early in the morning and stays open all the way until midnight! With no break time, it's convenient to come in for a solo meal whenever you're hungry! Perfect for beer and a late-night bite when you're suddenly craving something, right?

What kind of burger restaurant is Daily Fix?

Daily Fix is a handmade burger specialty brand, also famous as a pick from food expert Kang Min-kyung! So I was even more excited to taste the food~ On top of that, there's the fact that the chefs have backgrounds at Michelin-starred restaurants in New York, bringing their expertise to the food, plus the brand placed 2nd at the Korea Burger Championship! After the amazing smell, my anticipation went up another level!

The menu at Daily Fix, the burger restaurant in Sharosu-gil near Seoul National University Entrance Station, has a variety of burgers and side dishes, true to a handmade burger specialty shop~ In particular, the main burgers are made only with high-quality, delicious ingredients — 100% Korean beef patties made fresh by hand every single morning, and handmade bacon aged for a whopping 100 hours~

Bacon Cheese burger, 12,900 won: Korean beef patty and house-made bacon

The Bacon Cheese (₩12,900) is a Kang Min-kyung pick, but it's also my personal favorite item at Daily Fix~ It's the main star behind that appetizing smell I caught from outside, with the Korean beef patty as the key point!

It's juicy and packed with rich meaty flavor! On top of that, the combination of Korean beef patty and handmade bacon made for even richer, fuller meat flavor~ The aged handmade bacon was also high quality, without being overly greasy or tasting artificial! Definitely a Daily Fix item I want to eat again!

Pastrami Sandwich, 15,900 won: more layers of ham than you can count

The Pastrami Sandwich (₩15,900), Daily Fix's signature item, is delicious even down to the crispy exterior of the bread~ Nutty flavor, crispy texture — totally my taste!

On top of that, the pastrami ham is stacked so many layers deep you can't even tell how many there are, it's just packed full~ Thanks to that generous amount of pastrami ham, the distinctive aroma and flavor fill your mouth completely! With such a big portion, it's hearty and truly filling!

Bacon Cheese Fries, 7,900 won: cheese right down to the last fry

Bacon Cheese Fries (₩7,900). I'm someone who prefers the fries-and-cheese combo, but at most places the amount of cheese is never quite enough, right? Here though, there's more than enough — it's overflowing!

There's still cheese left even by the last piece~ Even more, the cheese flavor is rich and smooth, blending beautifully with the plain, clean flavor of the fries! On top of that, the bacon bits are so nutty and savory that the whole combination just can't be anything but delicious~

Would I go back to Daily Fix? Final verdict

Daily Fix Seoul National University Entrance is well located near the subway station, and the casual, bright atmosphere of the space was just right for a solo lunch visit~ On top of that, both the handmade burgers and side fries were high quality and generously portioned, so I was pleased to have a delicious, filling meal! Personally, I definitely plan to come back!
