Was the sky gray all day just so it could put on a show like this at sunset? The clouds hung heavy from the morning, not a single ray of sun... the weather was cool, but I figured there was no way I'd catch a relaxed sunset today.

After eating, hitting a café, and window-shopping at the Yongsan I'Park Mall, I stepped outside and — wow, the sunset was electric! Such a rare pink sky, and honestly I was so moved by it ♥ It really felt like fall was arriving, and ever since that day I've had this little happiness of checking the sky every sunset time >_<

That's when I decided we had to head to this Haebangchon date bar. We were originally going to take the bus, but a sunset is fleeting, right? So we jumped straight in a taxi ♥

Please, sun. Can you wait just a little longer for me?

I'd strongly recommend this as a Haebangchon date bar — it has that flawless, glamorous vibe ♥ There's a bar table inside and a rooftop cocktail bar outside; strongly recommended as a stop on a Seoul trip itinerary ★

Maybe the sky kept itself covered with clouds all day just to surprise me with this clear evening >_< I never imagined it would turn out this clear — so glad we left the mall and jumped in that taxi!

Honestly, no photo can capture how dazzling this Haebangchon date bar really is. It opens at 7! Make sure ★ you get there right at opening. On days with weather this nice, it's the perfect outdoor seating spot.

The sky was clear and fine dust levels were low too, so Namsan Tower was glowing a beautiful blue :)

I could look at it again and again and it never gets old ♥

As evening set in it got pretty chilly, but blankets are available to borrow, so go before it gets any colder!

Namsan Tower felt closer than I expected, and all the rooftop tables have an assigned direction, so it was perfect for just zoning out and staring at the view. It had been so long since I last got lost in the sky like that!

We also picked the lasagna as a light drinking snack. This was seriously wild — the moment it landed on the table, the truffle smell hit us like crazy..

I'm a total truffle fanatic, and this trip taught me that lasagna plus truffle is an absolute winning combo ♥

See that oil pooled at the bottom of the plate? That's the truffle oil. Dip each bite generously and it's pure bliss.

Loaded with cheese, plus a ragu sauce — totally my style ♥ We're both major truffle addicts so we scraped the plate clean! The portion was just right for a light bite, kind of like an early-evening appetizer. It was so good that now I want to bring truffle oil to every lasagna place I visit..

Time just flew by, and I got to have a real, proper rest for once at Cove Bar in Haebangchon. You guys, just sitting there watching the sky was, honestly, so relaxing and so happy ♥
