Sinbu-dong Cheonan café with a pet-friendly terrace and flan: Brewers

Hi everyone~ I visited last year too and the financiers and coffee were so good that I came back! This is Brewers Coffee in Sinbu-dong, Cheonan~ Every time I go it's packed, so it's clearly a favorite among Cheonan locals~~

Where Brewers Coffee Cheonan Sinbu Branch is, and what it looks like

Brewers Coffee Cheonan Sinbu Branch is located in the restaurant alley across from Cheonan Shinsegae Department Store~ Sinbu-dong has so many pretty cafés that it's fun to pick and choose~ but even so I keep coming back here instead of trying somewhere new~~! That's how appealing this café is~!

It's an all-black, sleek-looking café~ There's a wide terrace space next door, making it one of the places where you can relax on a terrace right in the middle of the city!! When I visited on Liberation Day, they even had the Korean flag hung up~~!

Last year the terrace looked like this~ but now it's changed to a more open vibe~ Shall we go in~~? It's open daily from 12pm to 9pm!

Is there a weekend wait? The terrace seats you right away

On weekends, Brewers Coffee Cheonan Sinbu Branch pretty much always has a wait!ㅜㅜ The menu is posted outside so you can plan what to order while you're waiting!!

Just make a quick reservation through Catch Table! If you're eating on the terrace, you don't need to wait~ I'd still recommend stepping inside first when you arrive! They even had water and cups set up for people waiting, which I thought was such a nice touch~

We visited past 2pm on a Saturday and there were about 3 parties waiting!! The weather was so nice that we figured the terrace would be better than sitting inside, so we asked if there was a wait for the terrace too, and we were able to order right away!

Inside Brewers Coffee: seating and the European-style interior

The interior looks roughly like this! There seem to be about 2 tables for 4-6 people, and along the wall there are about 4 tables for 2 people! And by the window there's bar seating for 4 people in a row!

The framed art on the walls paired with the lush green plants really gave off a European feel~ Mixed in with some black interior accents, it looks more upscale and sleek — that's this café's own charm!

Rows and rows of baked goods~ The financiers here are genuinely delicious...!!! They're in my top 3 financiers I've ever had!!!

Just looking at these financiers makes you feel spoiled for choice~~ There are so many kinds~ so it's really hard to pick... And if you go too late, it seems like they sell out fast...

The pet-friendly terrace at Brewers Coffee Cheonan Sinbu Branch

This time we grabbed a spot on the Brewers Coffee terrace~ There's a water station, outdoor AC, and waste bins outside too, so you don't even need to go inside — it was so convenient~

And Brewers Coffee here in Sinbu-dong allows pets, so there were a lot of guests who brought their pets along!!! So many people were spending time on the terrace with their pets~ which made it feel even more relaxed and European-like...!!

When you order, they give you a number tag like this — you leave it on the table and wait, and they bring your drinks right to you!!

How do the salted chocolate financier and crème brûlée flan taste?

We picked two americanos, one salted chocolate financier, and a crème brûlée flan! The americano was rich and delicious as always! It's rich and nutty, the kind of taste that makes your eyes light up the moment you take a sip haha! And salted chocolate really is the best financier flavor! It's the textbook definition of sweet-and-salty! The crème brûlée flan felt like an egg tart with a brûlée top — soft and pillowy inside, sweet on top, and the combination was just so good!!! It was big too, and really delicious!!🥹

Brewers also had a butter rice cake financier! My husband, who's turned into a trend-follower like me, picked this one~! It really had that chewy, sticky texture of butter rice cake, just like a real financier version of it!!

Every time we come here, the two of us end up drinking three cups between us!

These are photos I took on my first visit, when we ate inside~ The cup even has the Brewers logo engraved on it! And look at that crema, isn't it insane???

This is the signature Brewers Coffee drink! It's a sweet mocha base topped with smooth almond cream! I remember it being sweet and delicious!

Do I even need to say anything about Brewers' baked goods~ We picked the super appetizing-looking corn egg tart and the Nunettine financier, and honestly it was the kind of flavor that leaves you speechless ㅜㅜ The financiers here are exactly my style, so I wanted to gift some to friends~~! Brewers also does gift wrapping, so next time I'm definitely getting a gift box to go!!!

These days it's really hard to find a place that's good at both coffee and baked goods... but this place nails both, and the café has such a nice atmosphere too — it's a beloved café in Sinbu-dong that everyone seeks out!!💛💛 If you're ever in Sinbu-dong looking for a café, come here without a doubt~~~🤎
