Cheonan café dessert tasting for two and 2 financiers to go: Brewers

I was in Sinbu-dong, Cheonan, and stopped by Brewers Coffee Sinbu Branch. It's already famous as a dessert spot — I meant to just get coffee, but the financiers caught my eye and I couldn't resist, so this ended up being a huge dessert haul plus takeout. Spoiler: I really recommend this Cheonan café, a genuine Cheonan dessert spot!

I went on a weekday after lunch, and while Sinbu-dong itself wasn't that busy, this café was packed. It was nearly full when we arrived — the vibe is nice enough for dates, but people also came alone just for dessert. Almost every table had ordered dessert, haha, so of course we couldn't skip it and ordered financiers too. Customers kept streaming in, and with the nice weather lately, a lot of people were eating outside or getting takeout. Here's my honest review of this Cheonan dessert café, Brewers.

Where Brewers Coffee Cheonan Sinbu Branch is, and where to park

• Hours: 12:00–21:00
• Parking: Sinbu 4 Parking Lot in front of the store (first 30 minutes free)

If you're driving, set your navigation to Sinbu 4 Parking Lot and you can park right there — but note that only the first 30 minutes are free! Keep that in mind. It's located in the food alley across from Cheonan Terminal, so walking there is honestly more convenient. The desserts are so good that takeout customers are common, so if you're just popping in to grab something, parking briefly at Sinbu 4 Parking Lot right in front works great.

The exterior is a clean gray tone, but the interior is decorated with so much character. No wonder it was packed! This Cheonan café is also dog-friendly.

Every seat taken, even on a weekday afternoon

The inside of Brewers Coffee Cheonan Sinbu Branch is clean yet stylish, and even on a weekday it was nearly full except for the group table. My sister and I decided to eat in!

One side of the store had beans and branded goods for sale. And there was this super cute object — what do you even call it, a canelé-shaped paperweight? Anyway, it was adorable and fit the space perfectly.

Just a quick glimpse since it was so busy! Seating isn't huge, but plenty of people were taking things to go as well.

The menu: coffee and French-style baked sweets

Brewers Coffee Cheonan Sinbu Branch's coffee menu also had signature drinks.

The signature coffees looked delicious too. Next time I'll try one of those. Both the desserts and coffee were so good that I'm already planning to come back.

Everything looked so good. The desserts are mostly French-style baked goods, totally my type. I thought about only getting financiers since I love them so much, but ended up picking one of each... ♡♡ They said the desserts are all baked fresh in-store every day, so of course I couldn't resist. The visuals were so good I was determined to try one of each!

The flan! Crème brûlée flan. There was no way I could skip it after seeing how it looked.

There were the most varieties of madeleines and financiers, and both takeout and gift-box wrapping were available. Gifting this to a dessert-loving friend would be a guaranteed win!!! The gift box wrapping was neat too. If you're looking for a dessert gift near a Cheonan dessert spot, I recommend this.

Three desserts and one americano for two people

You pay upfront when ordering, and instead of a buzzer, staff bring it straight to your table. Once you're done, you can just leave everything and they'll clear it — that's why every seat has a number tag.

The two of us ordered like this.

• Nunettine financier ₩3,500
• Crème brûlée flan ₩6,000
• Americano ₩4,500

Looks so good, right? Everything really was delicious — confirmed Cheonan dessert café spot!

Crème brûlée flan, 6,000 won

The flan was packed with cream, soft and delicious. Not overly sweet either — a solid pick!

Pistachio canelé, 4,000 won

The canelé was so fluffy! Soft canelé with pistachio on the fluffy outer layer, nutty and delicious.

Nunettine financier, 3,500 won

The financier!!!!!!! Yeah, financiers are still my favorite, haha. This was seriously, seriously delicious. That dense, satisfying flavor I love — the nunettine (nougatine) coating made it extra chewy with an added crunch. How could nunettine not be delicious.

All three were good, but in my heart the ranking was financier >>>>>>> flan > canelé. There were a lot of madeleine varieties too — I definitely need to try those next time.

We'd already eaten a full meal, but we demolished these desserts in no time — if you're looking for a good Cheonan café, I recommend this one.

Why we took two more financiers home

I felt like I'd regret it if I left without buying financiers, so I packed a vanilla macadamia financier and a plain financier too, haha. Everything's so good, ugh.
