Suwon pizza restaurant, late dinner hot chili potato: Low Five Sinpung

The weather's been so nice lately, perfect for going out and about!! I usually hang around Haenggung-dong in Suwon, and today I was craving pizza, so I looked around and ended up at Low Five Sinpung, famous as a pizza spot!!

There's already an original branch in Haenggung, but apparently a Sinpung branch opened up too haha. Let me introduce what this place is like~

Low Five Sinpung hours and how the number tickets work

Mon-Sun 11:30–21:00 / Closed every Wednesday / (Break time 15:00–16:50) / Last order 19:40 / -may close early if ingredients run out-

The notice posted in front of the store~ They also hand out number tickets!! There's a lot of waiting on weekends or peak times, so it might be good to time your visit around the ticket distribution haha. Keep this in mind~

What does Low Five Sinpung look like inside and out?

True to a Haenggung-dong hotspot, the exterior already has that atmospheric feel! Hip yet vintage, giving off this foreign, exotic vibe like you're in another country haha.

There are also seats where you can eat while looking out at the street view. Great for two people, like friends or couples visiting together haha.

Overall the atmosphere is clean and upscale, so it'd be great for a date or a moody blind date too hahaha. The store is spacious with plenty of seating!

Low Five Sinpung menu and what we ordered

Here's how the Low Five menu is laid out. The signature is corn pizza, and avocado kimchi fried rice is also a popular item haha. I ordered a half-and-half pizza with corn and hot chili potato, Alfredo cream pasta, and a classic Caesar salad.

Everything looked so delicious. I really wanted to try the famous avocado kimchi fried rice too, but since I went pretty late in the evening it was sold out ㅜㅜ I'll definitely have to try that next time!! Let me introduce each dish I ate~~

Classic Caesar salad at Low Five Sinpung

The Caesar salad comes with the dressing already mixed in, so you just scoop it onto your plate — super convenient to eat!! And they also give you a slice of charred lemon — if you've watched Culinary Class Wars, you know how a burnt lemon can bring out a fresh, zesty kick?? Hahaha. Little details like this bump up the flavor, and I loved how thoughtful it felt hahaha.

Alfredo cream pasta

And then the Alfredo cream pasta!! It comes topped with a whole piece of bacon, and since it's pretty big, I cut it up so I could have a piece with every bite of pasta — plenty for the whole dish haha. The cream base was thick but not too greasy, just right.

The signature corn pizza

The pizza everyone's waiting for — corn pizza!! This is Low Five's signature pizza topped with sliced whole corn kernels. Getting a mouthful of corn with every bite is so satisfying, and there's a spicy seasoning sprinkled on top plus a mayo-based sauce on the dough — the combination works so well and tastes great. This is a must-try pizza at Low Five!!

Hot chili potato pizza: how spicy is it?

And then the hot chili potato pizza. I didn't expect much, but I was surprised at how delicious this one was too haha. It's topped with crispy fried potato pieces, plus something like shredded potato fries sprinkled on top for extra texture — it's spicier than the corn pizza, and it was really tasty too!!

Chewy dough you finish right down to the crust

Another thing about Low Five's pizza is that even the dough is chewy and delicious haha. Normally I don't bother eating the crust unless it's a cheese crust or sweet potato crust, but Low Five's dough is so good that I ate it all the way to the edge hahaha.

Low Five Sinpung was such a satisfying visit. If you're in Haenggung-dong looking for a great Italian restaurant that does pizza well with a good atmosphere, you have to check it out!!
