Now that the weather's cooling down, weekends are perfect for a leisurely brunch outing. This time I went to the Dongpyeon-maeul area in Anyang and visited Eggroom, a spot with great vibes and a solid range of brunch menu items!
Dongpyeon-maeul has a surprising number of pretty cafés and good restaurants, so I end up visiting fairly often. Eggroom had such a great lineup — from brunch to pasta — that I really enjoyed it. So let me show you everything, from the dishes I actually tried to the vibe of the place: Eggroom, a brunch spot in Dongpyeon-maeul, Anyang.
Where Eggroom is in Anyang: hours and parking
Eggroom is located at 경기 안양시 동안구 동편로49번길 26 102호, and it's open from 10am to 5pm. Brunch time runs from 10am to 3:30pm, and it's closed on Tuesdays. Parking, takeout, reservations, and a terrace are all available.
Visited Eggroom right around lunchtime! I was excited about the idea of a delicious outdoor lunch after a while, haha.
The Dongpyeon-maeul alley and Eggroom's outdoor menu board
The area in front of Eggroom felt so peaceful, like stepping into a storybook village. There are also plenty of street public parking lots nearby, so I parked on the street and walked over!

There's a menu board out front, so you can check the menu before heading in! There were so many brunch options that I went straight in — this lunch brunch spot, Eggroom.

Eggroom's terrace seats fill up fast at lunch
I arrived right before lunchtime and barely managed to grab a seat on Eggroom's outdoor terrace. The weather was so nice that I absolutely wanted to sit outside, and luckily there was a spot. Right after I sat down, both the indoor and outdoor seats filled up completely, haha.

There are about 5–6 tables inside, so sitting indoors is fine too, but this kind of happiness — brunch outdoors with sunny skies and a cool breeze in early autumn — is honestly the best everyday happiness there is... ♥

First, ordered two drinks! I ordered an iced Americano since I planned to eat with coffee, and the coffee was really delicious too ♥ The drinks came out before the food.

The outdoor wood table was set up like this, and the atmosphere was genuinely peaceful — a little break from work! The vibe was so good it would make a great café to just come hang out at too.

Egg Benedict at Eggroom: 15,000 won for 2 pieces
Eggroom's Egg Benedict comes as 2 pieces for ₩15,000. It comes with poached egg, red shrimp, arugula, mushrooms — the composition is honestly delicious ♥ There were so many menu options, but I ordered the Egg Benedict as a proper meal! With arugula, various vegetables, and egg, it doubled as a protein boost, and it was so good ㅠ_ㅠ

It's a familiar flavor, but it felt like a healthy brunch that's fresh and packed with protein, so I always end up ordering Egg Benedict!

Scallop oil pasta, 19,000 won, with plenty of scallops
Eggroom's scallop oil pasta sells for ₩19,000. I especially love oil pasta, and with scallops in it too, this was a must-order! The seasoning was perfectly balanced with a clean, mild flavor base — not overpowering at all, and really delicious.

The scallops were loaded on generously too, so it was great for getting a good balance of protein and carbs ♡ It's scallops and chewy linguine cooked in an authentic Italian style.
Eggroom's egg tart: the one thing not to skip
The dish that surprised me the most at Eggroom was the egg tart. If I hadn't tried it, I would have genuinely regretted it... it's SO incredibly good!!!!!!!!

Even my friend who's usually picky about food ate it and was like 'oh?!' It's the kind of flavor where, if I weren't on a diet, I could easily devour 3–4 of them... genuinely, genuinely so good — a must-order item!
Is Eggroom worth a terrace lunch? Final verdict
Both the indoor and outdoor vibes were great, but eating outside on a day with weather this nice made for such a happy meal... The food was delicious, the atmosphere was peaceful, and overall it was such a great experience — Eggroom, a brunch spot in Dongpyeon-maeul, Anyang. If I get the chance, I'd love to visit again ♡
