I can't believe I'm back here again!!! I only visited once before, and this time it was even better than last time,,
For this Dongpyeon-maeul café-street favorite, you've gotta come when it's cool out~ If you come when it's too cold or too hot you can't enjoy the terrace. I went a few days ago and it was super nice. So I wanted to get this post up fast~ writing this in a rush
It's located on that street where all the Dongpyeon-maeul café favorites are clustered. I love it here so much...
Where is Eggroom, and what are its hours?
Eggroom is on the 1st floor, 26 Dongpyeon-ro 49beon-gil, Dongan-gu, Anyang-si, Gyeonggi-do, right on the Dongpyeon-maeul café street. You can see lush green trees right out front too, so you get a nice dose of nature 🍀 so gooood…🩶
Definitely check the hours before you go. Opens at 10 AM and closes at 5 PM (on weekdays). Weekends run until 7 PM I heard. Also check the brunch hours before heading over. Seems like they use Fritz beans! haha seeing that a lot these days

Eggroom's interior has this kind of vibe. There's a cozy room-but-not-really-a-room area in the back! I sat there last time I came, haha
But definitely grab the outdoor terrace..... it's so good~~~ haha absolutely a must

They say freshness is a top priority for the eggs — they use antibiotic-free refrigerated eggs, laid no more than 5 days ago (wow???? super fresh)
Egg Benedict topped with a savory poached egg, shakshuka, French toast, and the signature lasagna!!!! Lots of delicious-looking options. The salads look super reasonably priced and tasty too. Cream latte and cream mocha are the signature drinks. Looks so good
What is Eggroom's terrace like on a weekday?
We headed to the terrace to properly enjoy this Dongpyeon-maeul café favorite~~~ wow, the sunlight was amazing, so nice. It was a weekday so barely anyone was around, felt like our own world. We'd just had pizza and pasta at Raon Sikttak next door and came here as a second stop — the whole course was absolutely perfect
Why an iced americano instead of a latte at Eggroom
I was in such a good mood I took photos from every angle :) At first I really debated latte vs. americano.. I picked latte then switched to americano thinking it'd pair better with the desserts haha, totally the right call. The coffee's good too!!! Not too weak~~~ just right. Gonna keep enjoying iced americanos before winter comes
How the butter bar and yellow cheese cookie tasted
All my favorite desserts gathered right here. Butter bar (barely anywhere sells this), a thick chewy cookie (lots of places do crispy, but crispy-yet-crumbly-chewy like this? pretty rare). This is definitely a solid spot.. delicious!!!!
Lately I like these baked treats more than cake, my taste is changing I guess
We cut them into pieces and tried them, but the unnie I went with couldn't eat much so I ended up eating almost all of it haha, she was like why do you eat so well haha, when something's this tasty I really can eat endlessly
But seriously, that hwang-cheese cookie... please... you must try it... so good that unnie packed one to go, said it's for her sibling!!!! This is a menu item I keep thinking about ever since visiting this Dongpyeon-maeul favorite. So whenever I'm nearby I want to grab several and stock up ㅠ_ㅠ
They used to be famous for the dujjon cookie too (my friend said it was delicious)
Staff are super kind, the vibe is great, the food is delicious — definitely a place I'll keep coming back to. Not sure if I'll have reason to go to Indeokwon.. but if I do, I'm stopping by~~~ lalala
