Pyeongchon food street pho with extra cilantro, Anyang: Pho Witch
In short
Pho Witch is a Vietnamese restaurant on the Pyeongchon food street in Pyeongchon-dong, Anyang, Gyeonggi, run by a brother and sister seven years apart. Arriving on a weekend at 1 pm meant a 10-minute wait for a table, and the order was the younger sibling's spicy pho (13,000 won) with extra cilantro, the Passionate Siblings' smoky pad thai (13,000 won) and mixed fritters (6,500 won). The broth is about as hot as Shin Ramyun and pairs well with the thick, saucy pad thai, which makes Pho Witch an easy pho recommendation in Pyeongchon-dong.

- Younger sibling's recommended spicy pho ₩13,000

The basic side dishes are crunchy pickled onions and danmuji (pickled radish) that go well with pho! I added cilantro!

Such a delicious smell wafting over ⸜̑⸝͂⸌̑⸍͂
Younger sibling's recommended spicy pho, 13,000 won

A killer pho that the younger sibling eats every day — a carefully simmered spicy broth topped generously with smoky-flavored vegetables and thinly sliced brisket!

You can choose the toppings that go into the pho — I did half brisket, half beef short rib, plus extra cheongyang chili for an even spicier bowl ✶˚ I really recommend adding extra noodles too!

It's about as spicy as Shin Ramyun, so anyone can enjoy it without much worry, and the clean, deep broth is perfect for curing a hangover - !

Eating the softly cooked rice noodles together with crunchy bean sprouts and clean-tasting meat gives you great texture and a full, satisfying mouthful .ᐟ

At first I wondered why anyone would eat this with cilantro, but at some point I fell for its fragrant charm .. pho + cilantro = ❤︎.⋆
Passionate Siblings' smoky pad thai, 13,000 won

Pineapple, shrimp, bacon and various vegetables stir-fried with sibling passion — Pho Witch's signature dish 〰️!

Mix the crushed peanuts and onion flakes that come with it thoroughly into the pad thai noodles!
Plump shrimp, bacon, pineapple, crunchy cabbage and bean sprouts — plenty of vegetables packed in for varied texture ✶⋆
The spicy-sweet sauce soaks perfectly into every strand of noodle, making it super thick and rich! Every bite makes you go 'wow'!

The pad thai goes well with cilantro too ⸜̑⸝͂⸌̑⸍͂
What comes in the 6,500-won mixed fritters

A combo menu to enjoy all of Pho Witch's fried dishes! The mixed fritters include seafood cha gio (fried spring rolls), vegetable spring rolls, chicken karaage, king shrimp tempura, shrimp rolls, and whole shrimp balls -!

Freshly fried and warm, crispy on the outside — dipped in sweet chili sauce it's really delicious, so make sure to order it - !
