If you love meat, you're going to love this — I found an amazing Korean BBQ spot near Geomdan Sageori called Taedon. The pork is personally selected and hand-trimmed by a certified master, the kimchi jjigae (kimchi stew) that comes as a base dish is packed with meat and full of deep flavor, and the side dishes are neat and generous. Honestly, I walked out wondering where else you'd find this kind of value these days — I was seriously impressed.
Especially the 'Dubai chewy ssamjang' (a wrap-dipping sauce) you get for wrapping your meat — I genuinely haven't seen this combo anywhere else, and it's an absolute cheat code. I had to come back and share this vivid review with you all right away. Ready? Let's get into it!
Where is Taedon Geomdan Sageori Branch, and where do you park?
Taedon Geomdan Sageori Branch is at 139 Wanjeong-ro, B-dong 1F, Geomdan-gu, Incheon, and it's open 11:30–22:00. There's a designated parking spot right behind the store, plus a huge lot stretching out behind the building, so you really don't need to worry about parking at all. (I couldn't get a photo of the dedicated lot, sorry!)

The exterior greets you with a big, sleek sign, so it was really easy to spot this Geomdan Sageori favorite from a distance.

What the dining room at Taedon feels like
Walking in through the door, the ceilings are high, giving the whole space an open, airy feel!

On top of that, the tables are spaced generously apart, so there's zero worry about bumping into your neighbors.

Because the space is so comfortable and pleasant, it seemed like a lot of local office workers come here for after-work team dinners, and plenty of families were coming in together too.

Four free sides that come with every meat order
And here's the part everyone loves, and something this greedy Nolbu-agassi (a nickname the writer uses for herself) especially adores — the special perk! Order meat and you get FOUR free extras. Yes, four! Isn't that just so appealing?
First up as a free side: spicy-sour jjolmyeon noodles.

The portion was so generous it was hard to believe it was free — I mixed it up and took a big bite, and the sauce was exactly my taste!

The spicy-sour-sweet flavor burst in my mouth, perfect for whetting the appetite before the meat even hit the grill.

On top of that, they threw in soft, fluffy steamed egg and a fresh mushroom platter too, all free — this foodie's mouth was practically hanging open with joy, hehe^^
Dubai chewy ssamjang with the assorted Handon platter
And now for the star I was most curious about — the Dubai chewy ssamjang! At first, just hearing the name, I was half curious and half skeptical about what it would even taste like. But trying it in person, it was surprisingly, ridiculously delicious — I was genuinely shocked!

Then, showing off its vivid rosy color, the assorted pork platter arrived in grand style — letting you taste the perfect combo of jjondeuksal (chewy cut) and samgyeopsal (pork belly) together.

They put the prepared pork straight onto the grill! On top sat chewy, crispy flat mandu (dumplings) sourced directly from Daegu, and below, crunchy radish salad, kimchi, and fragrant bracken fern were arranged, all set to be naturally cooked in the rich pork fat — a fully loaded, hearty spread that looked satisfying just to see.
Watching the meat sizzle and cook on the grill really makes your mouth water~

Take a nicely grilled piece of meat, set it on a slice of pickled radish, add spicy scallion strips and crunchy bean sprouts, and wrap it all up for a big bite — the juices and vegetable flavors mingle in your mouth for pure happiness^^

Does the jjagyechi side go with samgyeopsal?
And now, a must-have side dish you absolutely cannot skip — jjagyechi (jjajangmyeon-cheese noodles) makes its entrance! Samgyeopsal paired with jjajangmyeon-style noodles — doesn't that combo alone make your mouth water?

The noodles come perfectly chewy, topped with soft cheese and a rich soft-boiled egg, and they put it straight on the grill — the steam rising and the sizzle as it cooks was pure art.

It quietly turned out to pair perfectly with the meat, and I couldn't put my chopsticks down.

Kadayif ice cream from Taedon's receipt-review event
And here's the real cheat code of this Geomdan Sageori favorite Taedon — the receipt-review event dessert I got to try at the end of the meal!

Usually free desserts are small and simple, but this one blew me away visually the moment it arrived.

Cool, soft ice cream topped generously with crispy kadayif (shredded pastry) and sweet Oreo cookie crumble — the crunchy texture combined with the sweetness was seriously amazing!

Is Taedon worth a visit in Geomdan?
The chewy texture of high-quality hanwoo pork, carefully trimmed by a master, is a given here, but on top of that you get the crispy, savory Dubai chewy ssamjang unlike anything else out there, plus four generous free extras — steamed egg, jjolmyeon, flat mandu, and mushroom platter. With its spacious lot and comfortably wide table spacing, it's also a great spot for a relaxed gathering. If you want a full course from hearty meat to an unusual dessert, this Geomdan Sageori favorite Taedon is highly recommended — Nolbu-agassi says go for it!
