Indeogwon beef restaurant with 2-hour free parking: Sipnyeon Hanwoo

What kind of place is Sipnyeon Hanwoo Silbijip in Dongpyeon-maeul, Anyang?

Today I'm introducing an Indeogwon beef spot, Sipnyeon Hanwoo Silbijip Induk-won Dongpyeon-maeul branch. It's known for serving hanwoo (Korean beef) at a pretty reasonable price, so I was curious to check it out myself.

I'm Chocohyeong, a guy who loves good food and traveling haha. Today I was craving proper beef, so I headed to Dongpyeon-maeul in Indeogwon. After eating there myself, I found the price wasn't the only good thing — the quality of the meat was solid too, so it's worth recommending as a good-value hanwoo spot in Indeogwon. The place is also pretty spacious with separate rooms, so it looked great for company dinners or family gatherings with a group.

Getting there and parking: 7–8 minutes from Indeogwon Station, 2 hours free

Sipnyeon Hanwoo Silbijip Induk-won Dongpyeon-maeul branch is located near Dongpyeon-maeul in Anyang. The address is 39 Dongpyeon-ro 20beon-gil, Dongan-gu, Anyang-si, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea, Park Avenue B Tower 1F, units 105 and 106.

It's about a 7–8 minute walk from Indeogwon Station, so it's a decent spot to reach by public transit too. It's open daily 11:30–23:00, with last order at 22:00.

One thing I personally really liked was the parking. You can use the building's parking lot, and it's free for 2 hours, which made driving there easy. Parking can sometimes be a hassle at barbecue restaurants, but here that wasn't much of a worry haha.

Inside Sipnyeon Hanwoo Silbijip: a big hall, private rooms and a self-serve bar

Walking into Sipnyeon Hanwoo Silbijip Induk-won Dongpyeon-maeul branch, the place was bigger than I expected.

There was decent spacing between tables, and plenty of seating for groups, so at a glance it looked like a solid spot for a company dinner.

There was also a separate private room space toward the back.

If you want a bit of a quieter meal for a family gathering or company dinner, it seemed worth booking ahead and using that room. There were also table kiosks set up so you could order comfortably from your seat.

There was that typical bustling barbecue-restaurant vibe, but overall it never felt cramped.

And on one side there was a self-serve bar, so you could grab as many extra side dishes or lettuce wraps as you needed.

That part was surprisingly convenient haha.

Menu and prices: 500g of sipnyeon hanwoo for 49,500 won

What stood out most at Sipnyeon Hanwoo Silbijip was, of course, the hanwoo price. The signature menu had sipnyeon hanwoo 500g for ₩49,500 and sipnyeon special hanwoo 600g for ₩84,000.

There was a wide range of meats, from the owner-chef's collection of hanwoo cuts to pork belly, pork shoulder, and pork ribs. There were also plenty of side menu options — cold noodles, spicy bibim noodles, steamed egg, doenjang stew, doenjang soy-rice with meat, and yukhoe bibimbap. Quite a few good options for finishing off the meal haha.

We ordered the sipnyeon hanwoo 500g that day. ₩49,500 for 500g is definitely on the easier side for hanwoo pricing haha. Worth noting: the first order has to be at least 500g, and additional orders can be as small as 200g, so keep that in mind when you visit.

How the 500g hanwoo tastes charcoal-grilled with only salt

Alright, time for the taste review. After a short wait, a tempting plate of hanwoo arrived.

The sipnyeon hanwoo comes as a random selection of whatever cuts are prepared that day, so the mix can vary a bit each visit.

So there was actually some fun in seeing which cuts would show up haha.

The meat's color was vivid and it looked to be in great shape overall, so we quickly put it on the charcoal grill.

Beef really does taste best over charcoal — just watching it sizzle and cook made me hungrier lol.

Once it was cooked just right, we tried it first with nothing but a light dip of salt.

From the first bite, there was a nutty richness, and it was more tender than I expected — very satisfying.

Grilling it just enough to keep some juices in rather than cooking it too well-done really let that signature hanwoo richness come through.

It was tasty with just salt, but it was also great wrapped in lettuce, and pickled onions or radish slices cut through the richness nicely, so I kept reaching for more haha.

Above all, being able to eat 500g of hanwoo for under ₩50,000 was clearly a big advantage of this place.

When two of us go out for beef, the price usually weighs on my mind, but here we could enjoy hanwoo relatively worry-free haha.

Verdict: a hanwoo restaurant that gets better with a bigger group

To wrap up with an overall review.

Today I had a great hanwoo meal at Sipnyeon Hanwoo Silbijip Induk-won Dongpyeon-maeul branch in Indeogwon's Dongpyeon-maeul. At ₩49,500 for 500g, the price wasn't a heavy burden, and after eating it myself, I felt the meat quality held up too, so it seemed like solid value.

With a spacious dining area, private rooms, and convenient parking, it seems well suited for anyone looking for a beef restaurant in Indeogwon, a company dinner spot, or a family gathering place. What I noticed while eating is that while it's nice for two people, the advantages really show more when you visit as a group.

Since the meat price isn't a big burden, it should stay relatively comfortable to enjoy hanwoo even as the group grows. And with 2 hours of free parking, it also seemed fine for a group visit by car.

Personally, I sometimes hesitate to eat beef because of the price, but here I feel like I could come enjoy hanwoo fairly comfortably haha. If you're looking for good-value hanwoo in Indeogwon's Dongpyeon-maeul, this place is worth a visit. Next time I'd like to try a different hanwoo menu item too haha. Had a great meal again today :)
