Jamsil Stadium's final season food truck set for two: Bingdongdaeng

I recently went to watch a game at Jamsil Baseball Stadium! ⚾ You can't cheer at the ballpark without good food, right haha. This time I stopped by Bingdongdaeng Premium Bingsu Café in the food truck zone at Jamsil Baseball Stadium for some cool bingsu (shaved ice dessert) and filling snacks💗 For anyone wondering what to eat at Jamsil this year — its last season here — let me walk you through it in detail👍🏻✨

Where is the Bingdongdaeng food truck at Jamsil Baseball Stadium?

The Bingdongdaeng Premium Bingsu Café truck is in the food truck zone in front of the outfield's Ticket Booth 1 at Jamsil Baseball Stadium. By subway, it's a 4-minute walk from Exit 5 of Jonghap Undongjang Station; by bus, get off at the Jamsil Jonghap Undongjang stop and it's a 7-minute walk.

What bingsu does the Bingdongdaeng truck serve?

This is the Bingdongdaeng food truck🍧 With flavors like snow patbingsu (snow-ice red bean shaved ice), choco oreo bingsu, strawberry bingsu, and mango bingsu, you can order whatever suits your taste haha.

It's been so hot lately that they're also selling slushies, so grabbing a bat-shaped slush on your way to watch baseball would be so nice too💗

Next door: the Station cream shrimp truck

I went to the food truck that sells cream shrimp🍤 Besides cream shrimp, they also had Station nachos, konjac pork belly cold noodles (gonsami), and more on the menu! Since this is apparently a famous cream shrimp spot at Jamsil Stadium, I noticed pretty much every other customer ordering cream shrimp too🤤 Crispy fried nacho chips and plump shrimp piled with a generous amount of delicious cream sauce — I was already excited before even taking a bite.

When you get your food, just grab the chopsticks set out in front!👏🏻

Three trucks in a row, ending with Ippeun Yeou Hot Dog

Lastly, Ippeun Yeou (Pretty Fox) hot dog, which piles on the toppings! I looked it up and apparently it's a famous spot in Gyeongju with lines out the door👀✨ I was so happy to find it at Jamsil Stadium too! If it's that famous in Gyeongju, how could I not try it?! They sell their best-sellers — bacon corn mayo, bomb cheese, and bacon white garlic hot dogs — along with Belgian chili fries and a cool, smooth shake, among other menu items👍🏻

*The three food trucks stand side by side, so I could buy everything without walking around! A solid, well-priced combo that covers dessert to snacks all at once — I highly recommend it for ballpark food✨⚾

How is Bingdongdaeng's choco Oreo bingsu?

This summer was really, seriously hot… so of course I went straight for the bingsu first🥹 The moment I sat down I opened up the Bingdongdaeng choco oreo bingsu haha. The milk ice was generously piled with crushed Oreo cookie crumbles, and it looked sweet just to see it haha.

I scooped up a full spoonful and took a bite — sweet milk ice topped with even sweeter Oreo crumbs!! Perfect flavor for a hot summer🍫💗

And there was Bingdongdaeng chocolate on top too!! It really blew away the heat sweetly😋💗

Station cream shrimp: shrimp size is the deciding factor

Next up, the cream shrimp I tried!🍤 A textbook example of crispy outside, tender inside haha. There was a generous amount of sweet cream sauce on top, and eating it together with the crunchy shrimp made for the best combo!😆

Look at the size of these shrimp… seriously huge🤤 I think it's the best cream shrimp spot at Jamsil Stadium haha. Under the shrimp there were nacho chips too? Those were a nice treat as well haha. So crispy that dipping them in the sauce just doesn't stop💗

Bacon white garlic hot dog from Ippeun Yeou Hot Dog

Lastly, Ippeun Yeou hot dog's bacon white garlic hot dog!🌭 Do you see the visuals…? A hot dog that looks like it's overflowing with bacon!!!😆 The combo of bacon and garlic sauce didn't disappoint, as expected haha🤗 One bite in, and the juiciness of the sausage mixed with the savory flavor of the bacon made for a really satisfying, filling bite🙊 The portion was pretty generous too, more than enough to count as a full snack meal🌭💗

Verdict: far too much food for two people

If you're looking for good food at Jamsil Baseball Stadium in what's its last season, I want to recommend Bingdongdaeng Premium Bingsu Café! Cool, sweet oreo bingsu, crispy cream shrimp, and a hot dog that makes you feel like you're in America — I enjoyed all of it so much🫰🏻 Definitely get all three as a set!! The portions are way, way more than enough for two people haha💗
