Wandering the trendy, pretty-café-filled alleys of Seongsu, you eventually spot one building from far away that instantly grabs your attention!
Today I'm sharing my visit to LOOOP, one of Seongsu's signature hotspot bakery cafés — the giant red ribbon wrapped around its exterior makes the whole building look like an enormous gift box.
Beyond the Instagram-ready exterior, the modern, spacious interior and the surprisingly solid bakery lineup spanning both vegan and regular breads made this a space that exceeded my expectations.

The huge red ribbon draped over LOOOP's exterior has such a boutique feel that just looking at it puts you in a good mood — no wonder so many people were snapping photos right at the entrance.
Step inside with the excitement of walking into a gift box, and you're met with a completely different reveal: a clean, modern, steel-toned interior. Calm white-and-gray tones, sleek acrylic chairs, and neat tables give the space a wide-open, airy feel.
The floor is divided into comfortable sections with generous spacing between seats, making it perfect for a relaxed chat with friends or a date. Soft lighting and sunlight pouring in through the clear windows make it a great spot for photos too — like a studio shoot.

By perfectly controlling grind size and water temperature for each bean, it extracts uniform, clean filter coffee, letting you experience the bean's true nutty or bright character. The coffee quality was excellent too, giving a clean finish that paired beautifully with dessert.
How do the Better Choice muffin and cream salt bread taste?
I loaded up my tray with all the tempting desserts I could grab! I tried the carefully labeled Better Choice muffins and the salt bread-style bakeries piled high with toppings.
Despite using alternative sweeteners and high-protein ingredients, the Better Choice vegan muffins had zero dryness — soft, moist texture that was honestly impressive. Sweet but not overly nutty or rich, they were clean and easy on the stomach.
The salt bread I picked up had a crispy outside and moist inside, layered with soft cream and parsley flakes, or crunchy flakes and sauce — every bite burst with rich savory flavor.
