Hoot has moved from Chuncheon City Hall to the Myeong-dong alley

✨This is So-so-ju✨ Today I'm introducing Hoot, a café in Chuncheon's Myeong-dong. It's tucked in an alley inside Chuncheon's central market, and its sleek, cozy interior makes it one of Chuncheon's best coffee spots ☕️ It used to be located in front of Chuncheon City Hall, and when I heard it had moved to Myeong-dong, I hurried over to check it out 😆 Once I got there, it honestly felt like I was somewhere overseas — a really comfortable place to just settle in and stay a while ☺️ From coffee and drinks to dessert, Hoot gives you a sweet little escape. Here's my review 😎🖤

Hoot sits inside an alley 😊 It's under a brick building, and with all the folding doors thrown open, there was no way I wasn't walking in >.< Maybe it's the cooler weather kicking in, but lately I've been completely hooked on café hopping 💓

It used to be located in front of Chuncheon City Hall, but apparently it relocated near the Myeong-dong alley of the central market 😊 Lots of regulars were leaving reviews saying it's even better now that it's bigger and more comfortable 🫶🏻 Parking is easy right in front of the shop 🚘🚗🚗

Weekend lunch at Hoot: seating, atmosphere and going solo

I visited on a weekend for lunch, and word had clearly gotten around about the vibe here — there were quite a lot of customers. The warm wood-toned space felt like somewhere you could comfortably relax even if you came alone ☺️

This is the space where the owner makes the coffee, drinks, and desserts — seriously, how do people pull off such a high-sense interior like this 😆 My own aesthetic sense is a bit lacking, so spaces like this always amaze me haha. And the owner is incredibly, incredibly kind 🥹 Warm expression, friendly manner — it's the kind of place that stays with you 💓

Even the menu board looks hip ❣️ The single Americano I ordered has a bit of tartness added to it! I used to only like nutty, smooth-tasting beans, but lately coffee with a touch of acidity has been tasting great to me. My taste keeps changing, I guess 🤭

After ordering, I looked around the café's interior, and the little props were seriously cute and pretty ☺️ I especially love plates and cups, so browsing around was really fun haha.

At Hoot in Chuncheon's Myeong-dong, little props and potted plants scattered across the tables make the space feel even cozier 😍 The plants are just enough of an accent without being overdone, which makes the interior look brighter and prettier 🪴

🚾 The restroom is indoors and separated by gender. It's pretty clean 💖

For someone who absolutely needs one coffee a day ❣️ Seriously, how do people live without coffee ㅠㅠㅠㅠ With weather this cool these days, if you're not out hunting for good coffee spots, you're missing out. 😚

The single Americano with a subtle tartness captured exactly the flavor I've been into lately 😊 If you prefer a nutty, smooth coffee taste, go for the regular Americano instead 🫶🏻

My husband, who loves sweet drinks, picked the condensed milk latte 💟 Mix it well before drinking 😊 I stole a sip too, and it had this mood-lifting sweetness that I really liked haha.

The sweet brownie and ice cream paired really well with the single Americano I ordered 🥰 My husband always loves sweet desserts, and this one was exactly his taste ❣️
