Where is Geurine Oasis, and what are its hours?

Geurine Oasis is at 442 Jugyeopsan-ro, 1st floor, Sohheul-eup, Pocheon-si, Gyeonggi-do. Right at the entrance to Gomori there are two white buildings standing side by side.

Out front, Gomori Lake stretches wide~~~~~~~ it's gotten even cleaner lately thanks to renovation work.

It's open daily from 09:30 to 22:00. Nice that it opens early — how about a morning walk followed by coffee?

Why Geurine Oasis is known as an unusual Pocheon date spot

I've noticed a lot of people looking for unusual date spots in Pocheon lately~ I went to Geurine Oasis at the entrance to Gomori myself this time, and once I got there I understood right away why people say it's already become a local landmark^^

Walking from the parking lot toward the café, a huge structure spelling out "GRINE" in big letters caught my eye right from the entrance.

If you're looking for a café in Gomori, Pocheon, I really hope you check this one out.

From right in front of the café, the Gomori Lake fountain came into view, cool and refreshing~ With both mountain and water in sight from the seat, just sitting there felt healing haha.

The outdoor seating at Geurine Oasis spreads out like a garden, and with the tables spaced generously under the yellow parasols, there was zero feeling of crowding.

The gaps between tables were generous too, so we could chat comfortably without worrying about the next table.

It's dog-friendly, and I saw quite a few people there with their dogs~

It'd be great for anyone looking for a dog-friendly café in Pocheon, though I didn't have a dog with me the day I went. I personally love dogs but can't keep one myself. It would've been nice to watch a dog running around lol. Still, I got to do a lot of people-watching for once^^ Seems like everyone was out in the garden because the weather was so nice.

Tasting the condensed milk latte, latte, iced americano and pastry

We ordered three drinks — condensed milk latte, latte, iced americano — plus a pastry. The pastry was crispy outside and moist inside, and it was fun tearing it apart along the layers~

Each drink had its own character and was easy to enjoy.

Since we had three different glasses, it was also fun sharing and comparing them with the friend I went with haha.

Besides the pastry, they had quite a wide variety of other bakery items too.

Next time I'm going to work through the other menu items one by one like collecting stamps haha.

I also checked out the inside of the café, and it was kept just as pleasant as the outdoor area, so on bad-weather days you could comfortably hang out indoors.

Overall, with the varied menu and spacious layout, it seemed like a place families with kids could use comfortably too.

Is Geurine Oasis worth it as a large Pocheon bakery café?

Geurine Oasis has such a wide space that we could stay relaxed without worrying about finding a seat, and it seemed like a great fit for anyone looking for a large bakery café in Pocheon.

The path to the café connects with the Gomori Lake loop trail, so pairing your visit with a walk before or after would make for an even fuller itinerary.

If you're planning a Pocheon trip and stopping by Gomori, add Geurine Oasis to your route~ If you're after a wide, pleasant garden, a fountain view, and a dog-friendly café, I recommend giving it a try.
