Anyang brunch café weekend caprese basil sandwich set: Saechamcoffee

Woke up early on a Saturday morning and didn't feel like eating rice, so let's go get brunch for once 🥪☕️

I usually love sandwiches so much that I go hunting for them everywhere, and that's exactly why I came to Saechamcoffee!

Only Mondays open at 11:30, Tuesday through Sunday it opens at 10! Remember that! And a weekday takeout americano is just ₩2,500!! So good haha~~

What the room and the seating at Saechamcoffee are like

The inside of Saechamcoffee is done in wood tones and is super clean and pretty! Ooh~

The store is spacious, seats are plentiful, tables aren't cramped together, and overall it's clean and comfortable! Weekend brunch spots are often crowded with tight seating, but Saechamcoffee's roomy space makes it easy to eat at your own pace!

A place that works from solo seats to group tables!

And personally what I loved was 🚻 the restroom is inside the café, with a huge mirror, great for selfies too haha. At cafés it's kind of annoying having to step outside to use the bathroom, but here it's inside so it was so convenient haha

Can you bring a dog, and where do you park?

Saechamcoffee is pet-friendly 🐶🐾 If you like taking your pet to cafés, keep this in mind!

Each table has a bag hook, too... such a thoughtful, detailed touch! There's no dedicated parking lot, but the nearby Samdeok Park parking lot works well! Parking fees are relatively cheap too, so it's fine to visit by car — just FYI 🚗

Ordering the sandwich set: the drink is americano only

We were both starving, so my husband and I each ordered one sandwich set 🥪

With the set, americano (ice/hot) is the only drink option!

It felt so good to be out for weekend brunch after so long~~ Saechamcoffee sells not only sandwiches but also all kinds of cookies, scones, and castella, plus drip coffee bags and various MD items to take home, just so you know^^!!

Saechamcoffee's sandwich looks delicious even before you take a bite!! haha, you can just tell by looking! And they thoughtfully gave us pickles too haha, the attention to detail everywhere is no joke!!

How is the shape this pretty haha

First off, the ingredients overall feel really clean and fresh!

My husband and I swapped one each to dig in properly haha (my husband couldn't wait and already took a bite lol)

I took the first bite of the caprese basil sandwich, and the bread was so crispy!! Slightly crisp outside, soft inside — it went so well with the sandwich 🥪 And the basil sauce? It was so good, ugh. The ingredients and sauce weren't separate elements but blended perfectly together overall, and I thought, yeah, buying a good sandwich is really worth it, ugh

And what I especially loved was the fresh mozzarella cheese! 🧀 It's genuinely thick lol. Not just a thin slice tucked in, but a thick layer, and the cheese was fresh and chewy so it was so good, ugh

Truffle jambon sandwich with Isigny butter

And then the truffle jambon sandwich. With generous Isigny butter plus truffle jambon... no greasiness at all, just savory and delicious. If you love butter, you'll really love this combo lol. The savory butter flavor mingling with the cheese, bread, and sauce made the overall flavor so, so good, ugh. Genuinely, genuinely amazing!!

Is Saechamcoffee worth a second Anyang sandwich run?

To be honest, I visited this time as a sponsored trip, but after eating, I thought, why didn't I know about this place sooner? I have to come back, ugh. I'm the type who hunts down good sandwich spots, and if someone asked me to name the best sandwich place in Anyang, Saechamcoffee would be the first thing that comes to mind!

And here's another reason to come back!! There are 3 kinds of sandwiches, so I need to try the others too, ugh! lol
