Incheon Geomdan pork BBQ with baby highchair and highballs: Taedon

A while back, my family and I went looking for a clean, delicious pork restaurant and ended up at Taedon Geomdan Sageori Branch, a well-known pork BBQ spot near Geomdan Sageori.

How to get to Taedon Geomdan Sageori Branch, and where to park

Parking was easy — there's an outdoor lot right behind the building, so no stress hahaha.

The location is really convenient too! It's less than a 5-minute walk from Exit 2 of Geomdan Sageori Station, so it's super accessible for anyone getting there by public transport!

What is the dining room like at Taedon? Roomy and comfortable

The moment I walked into Taedon Geomdan Sageori Branch, I felt good — the interior is really spacious and clean.

The tables are spaced generously apart and everything is kept spotless overall, so I thought it'd be perfect not just for a family gathering but for group dinners and other get-togethers too.

Is Taedon good with a baby? Kids' tableware and a highchair

Without even asking, they brought out kids' tableware right away!

A baby highchair is also provided as standard, which makes it convenient to dine here with a little one!

After sitting down and mulling over what to eat, I ordered the signature large pork platter. I also ordered a Taedon Mojito Highball and a Taedon Lemon Ginger Highball to drink alongside it!

Four free sides that come with a meat order at Taedon

After ordering, the basic table setting arrived and I was genuinely surprised!

Just from ordering the pork, four sides came out for free — Dubai chewy ssamjang, an assorted mushroom plate, jjolmyeon, and steamed egg!

The free jjolmyeon had a sweet-and-spicy sauce that whetted the appetite perfectly before the meat, and the mushroom plate and Dubai chewy ssamjang both lifted the flavor of the pork even further.

Normally, if you come with a child aged 5 or under, they also give you bone broth for free, but unfortunately, when we visited, they'd run out of stock T.T

But instead, they thoughtfully gave us an extra serving of steamed egg! Thanks to that, the kids got to eat their fill of soft, savory steamed egg — I was really grateful and happy about it!

How does the large assorted Handon platter taste? The chewy cut wins

Finally, the meat from the large pork platter arrived!

We laid the pork, which looked wonderfully chewy, on the grill and cooked it until golden brown.

I picked up a juicy piece and tried it — the kkodeulsal (chewy cut) in particular really lived up to its name, incredibly chewy with a texture unlike anything else! The more I chewed, the more the savory, chewy flavor filled my mouth, and I couldn't help smiling.

I wrapped the meat with Dubai chewy ssamjang in lettuce — the savory umami of the Dubai chewy ssamjang completed the pairing with the meat perfectly.

Taedon Mojito Highball and Taedon Lemon Ginger Highball

Pairing it all with the cool, refreshing Taedon Mojito Highball and the invitingly crisp Taedon Lemon Ginger Highball, the savoriness of the meat and the clean, refreshing crispness of the highballs held each other up so well that the combination just kept going and going ><

The bright mojito aroma and the tangy-sweet kick of ginger went so well with grilled meat!! Hahaha.

Free ice cream from the Naver receipt review event

After happily finishing off the meat and side dishes, we took part in the Naver receipt review event! Writing a review gets you a free dessert ice cream, which was sweet and cool — a total treat to finish off the meal!

The kids devoured the sweet ice cream too, and it was so heartwarming to watch haha.

The restaurant is spacious and clean, making it great for group dinners or family gatherings, and the owner and staff were so kind and generous with the sides that I really want to come back.
