Thick, heavy hair that needs a clinic every two months

My hair is thick and there's just so much of it, so I have to get a clinic treatment at least once every two months❗️❗️ — a sad fate for my hair..😭😭 I'd been slacking on clinics lately, and one day at a café my friend snapped a photo of the back of my head and I genuinely almost screamed..? I thought I'd been reincarnated as Hagrid..⭐️

In a panic I searched for a salon nearby that's good at clinics and found "Urban Ground Hair Sangwangsimni Station Branch" ✨✨ and got the Nanoheel clinic done. Here's my review after filling my hair with nutrients from root to tip💖💖❗️

"Urban Ground Hair Sangwangsimni Station Branch" is 77m from Exit 4 of Sangwangsimni Station✔️ It's on the 2nd floor of the building marked with the arrow🤍 Parking is available but apparently not very spacious, so if you're driving, definitely call the salon ahead❗️❗️

Here's the interior of "Urban Ground Hair Sangwangsimni Station Branch"✨ I booked through Naver ahead of time, and they'd already put a name tag in my locker❗️ Booking through Naver lets you join various events and get discounts on treatments, so I really recommend booking through Naver in advance💚💚

I arrived a little early for my appointment, so while waiting at a window seat I took photos of the membership perks and drink menu..🥰🥰 The membership perks were amazing..! 50% off clinics, a head spa + clinic set at a great price — I'm thinking of getting a membership with my mom and coming back regularly for clinics..💖

What is the Nanoheel Premium Clinic?

I also got a photo of the detailed price list✔️ If you're curious about membership prices, prices per treatment, extra charges for length, and so on, check this out💖 I'd booked the "Nanoheel Premium Clinic" through Naver with designer Jiwon, so off I went✨

The "Nanoheel Premium Clinic" is said to fill tiny nano protein particles into the hair to strengthen the structure inside the strand..💕 Unlike a regular clinic that just coats the surface, this one packs nutrients all the way inside, so it's supposedly great for repairing badly damaged hair that keeps breaking and splitting👏👏 It goes through 4 total steps — moisture supply, oil coating, and protein settling — so the effect lasts a long time, which made it sound perfect for me..? So I booked right away✨

How the rinse-free 4-step treatment works

First they brought out the products for the Nanoheel clinic✨ It goes through step 1 + step 2 + step 3, with protein coating applied multiple times in between..🤍🖤 They said every step is done without rinsing❗️

Time to escape the dog-fur life👏👏

First, a shampoo to help the clinic absorb into the hair..✨

Then step 1 of the clinic began! They sprayed plenty of product onto my wet hair and let it absorb a bit..🤍

Manager Gyewan came by in between to help with the care..✨ I heard she's famous as a scalp massage expert and now I understand why..? Anyway since everything's done without rinsing, after applying step 1 they carefully dried it in to make sure it absorbed❗️

After drying, they filled in protein again..🖤

For step 2, protein mixed with product was applied to the hair again✨ This process was repeated four times❗️❗️

Once that absorbed again, on came the step 3 product🤍 Absorb → apply, absorb → apply, over and over x infinity — with protein constantly going in nonstop, of course my hair couldn't help but improve..💖

I remember feeling like my hair got heavier and firmer around this point✨

Step 4 applied and absorbed. Done. And finally, they finish it off with heat treatment❗️

Scalp massage in the spa room's massage chair

Once the heat treatment's done, you head to the spa room? Just sit in the massage chair, get a scalp massage, and float off to heaven..💖✨ So, so refreshing and satisfying!

After the final blow-dry, the clinic is complete✨

Before and after: no cut, but far calmer hair

On the left is the shocking before photo that scared me so much😇 You can really feel how heavy, stuffy, and thick my hair looks even in the photo.. haha. Now look at the after photo on the right — no straightening, no thinning, but can you see how much calmer it suddenly looks..?

It's honestly hilarious (not funny at all) — it looks like half the volume got thinned out, but there's no cut, no straightening, this is the same hair with just a clinic..😇😇 (one day apart)

And even though it looks this calm and light, my hair actually felt heavier and firmer on the inside, which made me so satisfied with this Nanoheel clinic..🖤🤍

I highly recommend designer Jiwon at "Urban Ground Hair Sangwangsimni Station Branch" for giving me exactly the calm, tame hair I wanted...💖
