Gimhae sushi restaurant open all day with no break time: Sushi Hwa

Today I want to recommend a spot on Bongni-dan-gil haha! I go out for lunch with mom a lot on her days off, but this was my first time actually going to Bongni-dan-gil! It's been my wish to eat lunch and then hit a café with mom there, and the chance finally came haha.
There are quite a lot of restaurants on Bongni-dan-gil. Today I'm writing about a sushi place! I don't think there are many sushi spots on Bongni-dan-gil, so let's go check it out~~?

Sushi Hwa menu: sushi sets and fried sides
Funnily enough my mom's face ended up in the shot, so I blurred it 😂 The menu felt varied yet compact, and the fried dishes were varied too! I didn't get photos, but there was an assorted skewer platter (6 kinds), fried oysters (5 pieces), fried shrimp, chicken karaage, potato croquettes (3 pieces), and takoyaki (5 pieces)!
I asked mom if she wanted fried shrimp and she said no, but then the table next to us ordered it and she saw how it looked and said it looked so delicious ^^ Honestly the presentation really was great. Good enough that I wanted to ask if I could just take a photo of theirs.
They said if you leave a Naver receipt review, you get a drink or 2 pieces of sushi~ Can't miss a review event like that hahaha.
Two raw sushi sets and one flame-seared set: how did they taste?
At Sushi Hwa we first ordered 2 raw sushi sets, but it wasn't enough so we added a flame-seared sushi set too. Since they specialize in direct-flame grilling, I was curious and ordered it partly for that reason haha.
The presentation was seriously no joke. First off, the shrimp was really plump 👍🏻👍🏻 I can't eat anything even slightly fishy, but there wasn't a hint of fishiness! The salmon was so soft it just melted in my mouth,, and the flame-seared pieces had that flame flavor? Smoky char? Even better, especially the shrimp haha.
You can choose garlic or spicy sauce, and you can also do half and half!!
The mini udon and cold soba included with Sushi Hwa's sets
When you order a set at Sushi Hwa, you have to pick either udon or cold soba — I got cold soba, mom got udon. The cold soba was refreshing, salty-savory, with that nice sharp kick!!
But the udon was seriously delicious. It went well with the crown daisy greens and the noodles were nice and chewy. It's just a mini udon that comes with the set, but it had big chunks of fish cake and everything it should have. A proper, textbook mini udon, not a lazy one ♡
Inside Sushi Hwa: seating and atmosphere
The interior was really clean, and I thought a sushi place might smell a bit fishy, but there was absolutely no smell at all!! We ate in a clean, comfortable, pleasant atmosphere haha. And I loved that the water wasn't plain water but more like a barley tea kind of drink 😋
Lunch on Bongni-dan-gil: why no break time mattered most
What I liked most of all was that there's no break time!! These days when you go out for lunch you have to think about break time hours, right? Sushi Hwa is a Bongni-dan-gil spot you can visit anytime haha.
