Where is Billogeu Hair, and where do you park?

Billogeu Hair is located in Yeonji-dong near Citizens Park in Seomyeon, Busan. It sits right on a main road, so it was easy to find.

With fall slowly rolling in, I felt like changing up my hairstyle for a fresh mood. That's how I came across Billogeu Hair, which had opened just a month earlier, and decided to get a perm there myself.

If you're visiting by car, they said you can use the nearby National Gugak Center Busan parking lot.

Inside the one-person salon, and opening hours

The inside of Billogeu Hair has a white-toned interior with soft background music playing, giving it an overall clean and pleasant feel. Since it's run as a one-person salon, getting your hair done in such a relaxed atmosphere feels like the biggest perk.

Business hours run Tuesday through Sunday from 10am to 7pm. Every Monday is a regular closing day. They mentioned that visits are possible even after 7pm if you contact the salon first — worth keeping in mind!

Another advantage of Billogeu Hair is the price. Overall, it's reasonably priced and not a burden on the wallet.

What happens in the hair consultation before the perm?

I booked a perm and visited Billogeu Hair. When I showed the style I wanted, instead of diving straight in, the stylist started with a thorough consultation about my current hair condition.

Finally, she carefully asked when I last dyed or permed my hair and what kind of perm would suit me now, helping me figure out the right style together. Since my hair was frizzy and semi-wavy straight, I decided to get a CS perm for a livelier yet still neat look.

How the CS perm is done, plus tea and snacks

Perms require a lot of different nutrients and chemical treatments, and she applied them to my hair carefully and meticulously. Overall, she made sure to get the design I wanted while not damaging the overall condition of my hair.

There were refreshments too — peppermint tea, coffee, and various drinks, along with little snacks. She kept refilling them in between and clearly paid close attention to the details.

Perms inevitably take a long time, but chatting away with the owner made the time fly by. She mentioned she used to live in Myeongji before opening this one-person salon in Seomyeon — no wonder it feels so good, haha.

Between all the chatting, the perm was already wrapping up... While drying my hair, she shared plenty of tips on how to maintain the perm well.

I really loved the finished look! With my semi-wavy hair, the awkwardly tangled texture had always stressed me out, but she styled each strand carefully, and I ended up with a look that felt lively yet neat.
