We went to the Gimhae furniture street to look at furniture and ended up having a date dinner in Yulha 〰️

There's parking right in front so it's easy to come by car, and finding street parking nearby isn't hard either. I didn't expect such a small, cute place, but it was decorated so nicely.

The taco menu isn't huge, which told me how confident and serious they are about their tacos.

The Mexican trinkets around the shop are all so cute. Both owners were super kind, and they cooked everything with so much care that it really built trust 🧡

Can you bring a baby, and what's on the table?

Holstaco Yulha has a baby chair, so bringing a little one along is That's Okay!! Every table comes with wet wipes, tissues, disposable gloves, and hot sauce. Just drizzle the hot sauce on to taste.

Someone (me) pulled out every single type of wet wipe just because they were cute hahahahaha. For the drink I picked zero-sugar cola out of a guilty conscience(?), but they gave a cup of ice as standard — points earned, seal of approval granted.

How did the camarón and carnitas tacos taste?

Now for today's stars: camarón (shrimp) and carnitas (pork). The camarón tasted like eating a shrimp burger, no notes. The shrimp were nice and plump and really tasty. Carnitas is the flavor we're all familiar with! The moist base made it super easy to eat.

Birria taco, ordered without cilantro

I let out an involuntary sound of joy the second I bit into the birria taco. Made with beef flap meat and Korean beef broth, it was genuinely delicious — and since we don't like cilantro, we asked for it to be left out entirely 🌱. Honestly the birria taco itself was already seasoned so well that you didn't even need to dip it in sauce.

And then the mac taco, which tastes like a burger. My boyfriend took one bite and shouted, this is a McDonald's burger! Hahahahaha, though he clearly couldn't remember it was actually the Big Mac he meant — he threw out 1955, Bacon Deluxe, Shanghai Burger, all wrong. Also, you have to eat this mac taco with cheongyang chili. It's not too spicy, which makes it an even bigger hit ✔️

The table was so packed with food — and yet watch it disappear in a magic trick that takes 15 minutes flat.

I dug into the birria taco and loved that the tortilla wasn't soggy at all — the umami was insane, ugh. So darn good. They pile in the fillings so generously it spills everywhere, so if you're bringing a blind date or a date here, come back at least a month later hahahahahahaha. Until then, I'll be over here happily eating my fill.

Nachos & salsa at Holstaco Yulha

Nachos & salsa sauce. I love this kind of snack because you can eat endlessly without getting full. The nachos were salty enough that I really wanted a sip of beer, but since it's diet season, I held back, ugh hahahaha.

My boyfriend, who's learned to share even a single bean now, is getting good at splitting things half and half (?) hahahaha. Honestly one order is way too much for one person, and sharing even a single bean just makes it taste better hahahaha. The two of us inhaled this taco.

Would we go back to Holstaco Yulha?

I was too full to try the mac taco my boyfriend insisted was delicious, so next time I definitely will. I'm also curious about the burrito, the chili nachos, and the camarón bowl 🥺🧡. Honest review of Holstaco Yulha — a place worth making the trip all the way to Yulha just for. Done!
