In short

Ppyeodae Itneun Haejangguk Gamjatang Yulha Branch is a restaurant on Yulha 7-ro in Gimhae specialising in haejangguk (hangover soup), gamjatang (pork bone stew) and grilled bones. Two diners ordered the small hanwoo daechang (beef intestine) bone grill at 42,000 won plus a 2,000 won pot rice, drank soju alongside it, and finished by stir-frying sujebi (hand-torn dough flakes) and ramyeon noodles in the leftover sauce. With a self-serve bar offering unlimited noodle add-ins and easy parking, Ppyeodae Itneun works well for an after-work drink or a group dinner.

Walking in, the interior was clean and really spacious! The tables were spaced out generously, and there were tables for 6 or more, so it's great for family dinners or work gatherings too.

Menu board listing haejangguk, gamjatang, bone grill, and boiled pork slices

The menu and what two people ordered

Beyond haejangguk and gamjatang and bone grill, they even make their own boiled pork slices in-house, so there's plenty to choose from depending on your mood! I especially liked that you can order the haejangguk boneless, so you skip the hassle of picking meat off the bone and can dig right in... the best!

[ Order ] Hanwoo daechang bone grill (small) ₩42,000 / Rice pot ₩2,000

The two of us went with the best-seller and new menu item, the hanwoo daechang bone grill!

Fresh cabbage kimchi, cubed radish kimchi, peppers, and onions come as the basic side dishes, along with a special dipping sauce for the meat.

How the 42,000 won hanwoo intestine bone grill tasted

The bone grill arrived in a huge hot pot!! Thick, meaty neck bones grilled with rich, savory hanwoo (Korean beef) daechang (small intestine) piled on top — the visuals alone already passed the test...🏅

One bone piece was so big that just picking it up felt hefty (•̀ᴗ•́)و ̑̑

Bone grill meat pulling off easily with chopsticks

It must have been braised down well, because the meat pulled off the bone easily with just chopsticks. The sauce had soaked all the way through — the umami was insane!

A bite of bone grill topped with fresh cabbage kimchi

It's great dipped in the special garlic sauce, piled on top of rice, or eaten together with the fresh cabbage kimchi!

Plump hanwoo daechang piled on top of the bone grill

Look at that plump hanwoo daechang( o̴̶̷᷄ ·̫ o̴̶̷̥᷅ ) There's no way it wouldn't taste good!!!

Hanwoo daechang coated in spicy-sweet sauce

The moment it hits your mouth, a savory flavor bursts out — so fresh, rich, and a little sweet... plus the sauce is spicy-sweet, which cuts right through the richness of the daechang. Eating daechang + meat + sauce together in one bite is pure heaven☁️🩵

Why Ppyeodae Itneun suits an after-work soju

🔫 Skipping alcohol with this combo would be a crime. We ordered a bottle right away and toasted! One bite of the savory, spicy daechang and meat, followed by a cold shot — instantly melts away the day's stress ⌯˃̶᷄ ⁻̫ ˂̶᷄⌯ It really goes down so smoothly that I strongly recommend it for an after-work drink or a group gathering. Even the table next to us was already in full work-dinner mode... haha.

Why the 2,000 won pot rice is worth adding

Skip the plain rice bowl and order the rice pot instead! Glossy, piping hot rice topped generously with the sauce — total rice thief..🥷🏼

At the end, pour in hot water for scorched rice tea (sungnyung) to settle your stomach — a clean finish!

Stir-frying sujebi and ramyeon noodles in the leftover sauce

Potato noodles, jorangi rice cakes, dumpling soup dough, ramyeon noodles, glass noodles, and more — all unlimited refills along with the side dishes! Pour a little broth into the leftover bone grill sauce, add the dumpling dough and noodles, and stir-fry it down until it's thick and saucy — it's an absolute standout dish... beware of bursting your stomach!

※ I poured in a bit too much broth since I added the ramyeon noodles too, but you can use less

Pot of broth and noodles simmering in the leftover sauce

The broth was seriously amazing. I kept saying "wow, this is so good" the whole time I was eating ㅠㅠ And I had no idea the noodles would be this good either...

I thought I'd burst from being so full.. All the noodles were delicious, but especially the glass noodles, which were plump and so tasty ₍ᵔ.ˬ.ᵔ₎♡̷̷ꪳ I originally wanted to fry up rice too, but I was too full, so I saved that for next time..🥲ㅎ
