It seemed like a perfect breakfast spot for anyone staying near Gwangalli~ Even from a distance, the hip and sleek exterior caught my eye!

Famous Benny's own vibe just overflows here. In front of the door I spotted a little table and seating too~

When the sun's nice and it's cool out, enjoying this spot here would be great too!

Inside the 1st and 2nd floors, and the outlet seats

The interior of Famous Benny Gwangalli Branch had a calm, warm feel with white and wood tones blending together haha. The 1st floor had the counter and a few tables, and the 2nd floor had larger tables! Unlike the hip exterior, the inside had such a warm atmosphere~ It seemed great not just for meals but also for reading while sipping coffee~

If only I'd had time, I would've leisurely read a book here ㅠㅠ Every seat has an outlet, so it looked like you could work on a laptop too!!

Working in an atmosphere like this~ feels like work would go smoothly on its own~ that feeling of your mind having room to breathe, you know? By the way, Famous Benny Gwangalli Branch is dog-friendly!

Looking at the shop info on Naver Place, it seemed like they put a lot of care into the coffee too!! They even sell coffee beans in-store~~ How could I not try it after seeing that? haha

The brunch section was made up of combinations you could enjoy for a simple breakfast with bread!

Starting with The Famous Benny, Famous Benny's most signature dish~ then French toast, salad, Egg in Hell, and more haha. They also had warm soups, which was so nice!!

What we ordered was French toast, house salad, sweet pumpkin soup, and a café latte swapped to oat milk. We placed the order like this~~ and after a short wait, the food was set up right away! They brought it to our table~ ta-da~~

We started with the warm sweet pumpkin soup first~ ah, I really have to congratulate myself for ordering this..

Warm and sweet, genuinely delicious.. The bread served alongside seemed to be grilled with some kind of sauce on it, and its slightly salty taste really went well with the sweet pumpkin soup.

What's in the house salad, and the lemon dressing

With a visual like this, isn't it basically a work of art. Famous Benny's house salad comes with poached egg, cherry tomatoes, and granola~ and it had a lemon dressing!

Not too sharp, just the right amount of tangy-sweet, and my appetite kept building the more I ate! The portion was really generous too, so it was great as a full meal on its own~

What does the French toast taste like?

The main star of the day, French toast~ ugh, did the owner major in art or something? How does it look this delicious and pretty.. The French toast comes with toast nicely cooked in egg, banana, bacon, and nuts.

First, drizzle on the maple syrup, then cut it up neatly and take a bite~~ it really melts in your mouth.. the toast was so soft!!

The harmony with the bacon and banana served alongside was really great. And this too was quite a generous portion~ Pairing it with the warm sweet pumpkin soup in between bites was also really nice!

Iced café latte swapped to oat milk

They also give you a paper with an explanation of the coffee beans! Since I like a nutty latte, I had it swapped to oat milk.

But these beans paired really well with oat milk!? It was such a nutty latte with a great aroma! Ah, the coffee went so well with what we ordered that day, I still think about it..

Overall the food quality was so high that we ended up eating a huge amount from the morning haha. The shop's vibe was great too, so it started our day off in a good mood~ Beyond morning brunch, it also looked great for working or reading while sipping coffee! If I get the chance next time, I'd love to come back and enjoy it more leisurely haha.
