Cheonan café full at 4pm: pistachio canelé in almond cream, Brewers

Today I'm writing about Brewers Coffee, a canelé spot I discovered in Sinbu-dong, Cheonan that's now one of my all-time favorites!

I visited around 4pm on a weekday and it was still almost full! I'd heard it was a popular place, and once I tried it myself I got why.

The pistachio canelé especially was so good I want to go back — haha, a Cheonan café I'd revisit just for that.

Inside Brewers Coffee Cheonan Sinbu Branch: mood and seating

The interior of Brewers Coffee Cheonan Sinbu Branch has an overall moody, photogenic vibe. There's also an outdoor terrace, which would be great for coffee on a nice day.

Apparently kids and pets are welcome too :)

That said, the seat I sat at didn't have an outlet, so I'd recommend this more for chatting with friends or a date spot in Sinbu-dong or Cheonan rather than laptop work.

There's also a unisex restroom inside the store!

French-style pastries baked fresh every morning

Brewers Coffee is a place where you can taste French-style baked goods and bakery items made fresh each morning.

There's a wide variety of baked treats, and gift wrapping is available too. So I'd also recommend it to anyone looking for a good baked-treats spot in Cheonan!

Signature Brewers Coffee: how to dip into the almond cream

For my drink I ordered the signature of Brewers Coffee Cheonan Sinbu Branch, the Brewers Coffee.

A soft almond cream sits on top of a sweet mocha base, and they recommend dipping your baked treats into this cream.

I tried it right away and... this combo is seriously delicious ㅠㅠ

A staff member showed me how to eat it!! They said to eat about half the cream, then mix the rest with the coffee — I did, and wow..! The mocha-scented coffee paired so well with the almond cream.

The pistachio canelé that stole the show

My clear number one pick that day was the pistachio canelé!

Soft yet chewy texture, with the nutty flavor of pistachio and just the right sweetness — exactly my type. It's delicious on its own, but dipped in the almond cream it's basically heaven... lol

While eating it I kept thinking I wanted to eat five of these alone. If anyone asks me for a Cheonan café recommendation, I think Brewers Coffee will come to mind just because of this canelé!

Crème brûlée flan: sweet and custardy

I also tried the crème brûlée flan together. The flan itself is on the sweeter side, and with the brûlée added on top, the overall sweetness felt pretty high.

I'd recommend this to anyone who likes sweet desserts! The cream inside was really good, and apparently there's a plain flan too, which I'd like to try next time haha.

Friendly service and an easy afternoon at Brewers Coffee

The staff were really kind too! They brought the drinks and desserts right to my table, so I had a pleasant time.

If you're looking for a moody café in Sinbu-dong or somewhere to check out in the area, I'd recommend this place. Especially if you like baked treats, you have to try the pistachio canelé.

How to get to Brewers Coffee Cheonan Sinbu Branch, and where to park

Brewers Coffee is about 500m from Cheonan Shinsegae Department Store and sits right next to Sinbu 4 Public Parking Lot. The first 30 minutes there are free. Parking on the Sinbu-dong food street itself is fairly limited, so I'd recommend using a nearby public or paid parking lot!
