I went out on a Haenggung-dong date after a while. For a Haenggung-dong restaurant date spot, I tried Low Five Sinpung!

There's already a Low Five location on the way down from Seongyeong Library, and now another branch has opened nearby! I guess popular restaurants really do open second locations in Haenggung-dong. If you're looking for a good-vibe restaurant with tasty pizza and pasta, I recommend Low Five!
Low Five Sinpung: location near Hwaseong Haenggung, hours and parking
Low Five Sinpung is at 32 Sinpung-ro, 1st floor, Paldal-gu, Suwon, Gyeonggi, near Hwaseong Haenggung Palace. It's open daily from 11:30 to 21:00, with a break time from 15:00 to 16:50, and closed every Wednesday.
This trendy Low Five location is near Hwaseong Haenggung Palace. It's a great spot for a Haenggung-dong restaurant date 👍
Just a note — on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, ingredients tend to run out fast, so they may close early.
For parking, I used the Jangan-dong public parking lot. You can also use the Seongyeong Library parking lot. It's just a 5-minute walk from either. Search for 'Haenggung-dong public parking lot,' park at whichever is closest, and walk over.
Inside Low Five Sinpung: a wide hall with the windows open
Since Low Five Sinpung is a newly opened location, it's clean and the hall is really spacious. The large windows were wide open, so it was cool even without air conditioning.
The heat had eased up and the weather had become gorgeous — and the sky was so pretty that day!

I came out for a Haenggung-dong restaurant date with a coworker from work.

While deciding where to go, she recommended Low Five Sinpung, saying the pizza was good. It was clean since it's a newly built Low Five location, and the space was really spacious.

This is Haenggung-dong, Suwon, but it totally gives off European vibes haha. With such nice weather, the outdoor seats will probably get even more popular now!

The indoor seating was really spacious too. It had that good-vibe casual restaurant feel.

The big windows at Low Five were wide open, so it was really cool inside.
My coworker kept smiling the whole time — not sure what was so funny lol. I think she was excited about the Low Five pizza.
How to order at Low Five Sinpung: QR code menu that's easy for foreign visitors
To order at Low Five Sinpung, you scan the QR code on the table and place your order.

The menu photos and descriptions are so detailed that foreign customers should be able to order easily too. I guess since Suwon's Haenggung-dong gets a lot of foreign visitors, they set it up this way.
What two people ordered, and why the bill came to 57,000 won
Here's what we ordered together at Low Five Sinpung. The total came to about ₩57,000.
- Grapefruit ade ₩6,000
- Lemon ade ₩6,000
- Half-and-half pizza (corn/taco) ₩27,000
- Shrimp spice rigatoni ₩18,000
For two people, it came to about ₩57,000 total. For a Haenggung-dong restaurant date, the price felt pretty reasonable! Especially since it was delicious haha.

Refreshing grapefruit and lemon ade! We both picked something tangy. Since pizza and pasta tend to be rich, a refreshing ade really hit the spot. I'd driven over, so beer was a no-go (sob)

How does the corn and taco half-and-half pizza taste?
For our half-and-half pizza at Low Five Sinpung, we picked corn pizza and taco pizza. The corn pizza was saltier than expected, and the taco pizza was spicier than expected.
A sweet-and-savory pizza smell was wafting through the air and I wondered whose it was — turns out it was ours, right as it arrived!

The corn pizza, with whole kernels of corn to bite into, was saltier than I expected. The taco pizza was spicier than I expected!
If you want a spicy pizza, I'd totally recommend the taco pizza 👍 It has all the fillings you'd find in a taco. And of course, there's a good sprinkle of cilantro on top too.

The pizza came out in a regular size, which was enough for two women to share. Three slices each is just right 👍

Shrimp spice rigatoni: portion size and how spicy it is
The shrimp spice rigatoni (₩18,000) came in a pretty generous portion, so together with the half-and-half pizza, it was more than enough for two of us. The sauce was spicy, so we ended up dipping pizza crusts into it.
By the time you finish the spicy rigatoni too, the portion size really should be plenty. The rigatoni pasta comes in a fairly large amount as well.

The plump shrimp resting gently on top of the pasta was savory too. The pasta sauce was spicy and tasty, so we kept dipping the pizza crusts into it.

After eating so happily, we headed straight back home. It had been a while since I'd been out to Haenggung-dong, and thanks to the delicious food at Low Five, our Haenggung-dong restaurant date was a success!
