I had lunch plans in Byeongjeom today~ Before lunch, I heard there was a cute vintage cafe nearby, so my sister and I stopped by Baiden Coffee Bar!

Baiden Coffee Bar is located in an alley near Byeongjeom Station.

There's no sign, but the name 'Baiden' is written on the wall~ Near the entrance there's a small bench for waiting 😁 It's a vintage-feel cafe so I walked in with high expectations ✨️

Right at the entrance there was cold water and cups. On the shelf above, there was also coffee that seemed to be for sale — Baiden Coffee Bar is a really popular Byeongjeom cafe 🤗

Right as you walk in, there's a space on the left for making coffee and cocktails 🙂 From coffee-brewing equipment to a whole range of liquors for cocktails! Since I barely drink, there was a lot that felt novel to me ✨️

Why couples fill Baiden Coffee Bar's seats right at opening

Baiden Coffee Bar has plenty of tables, but so many couples come that seats fill up faster than you'd expect 😳 My sister and I went in basically right at opening~ After that, couples kept showing up and turning away because there was no room. You can tell right away why this place gets so many customers 🍸

Little props scattered all around this Byeongjeom cafe. Real liquor bottles and coffee beans! Above the air conditioner there was even a Santa doll for Christmas. I couldn't stop laughing when I spotted that 😁

After ordering and waiting, the owner personally brought our order to the table~ These days customers usually serve themselves, so this warm touch at Baiden Coffee Bar, this Byeongjeom cafe, felt really nice 😊

What the Baiden latte and hibiscus iced tea taste like

My sister ordered the Baiden latte, and I ordered the iced tea. For dessert we also got French toast and tiramisu! I heard the owner makes the tiramisu by hand, so I was curious and ordered it 😉 My sister said the Baiden latte was delicious~ and I really loved my iced tea, mixed almost like a cocktail ❤️ Instead of being an iced tea that's so sweet you can only drink a little, it had a subtle hibiscus scent and wasn't overly sweet, so it was easy to keep drinking 🍸

Baiden Coffee Bar's French toast: crisp outside, soft inside

The French toast was the definition of crispy outside, soft inside 🫢 The bottom is coated in sugar, and the inside is fluffy like a cloud ❤️ Even with honey drizzled on top, it didn't taste overwhelmingly sweet — more like a subtle flavor that kept me reaching for another bite~

Once you put it in your mouth and chew slowly, it just melts away 🫢 I'd never had French toast this good before?!

Is the owner's homemade tiramisu worth ordering?

Since the French toast was so good, I had high hopes for the tiramisu too ✨️ I took a spoonful of the tiramisu 🍰 that the owner makes by hand — and the spoon just sank right in!? The top was covered in cream, but it wasn't sweet at all. If anything, the way the bread and cream came together made me think the owner's skills were seriously impressive...

Above the entrance there's also a note saying 'come again' 😁 It's small so it's easy to miss, but my sister's sharp eye caught it~ This Byeongjeom cafe made me so happy with its delicious drinks and cake ✨️ Baiden Coffee Bar is such a great spot for couples — next time I'd love to come back with my boyfriend 😆
