Uijeongbu café with spacious parking and milk tea: Forerest

It was the weekend, and I wanted to get out of the city and unwind in nature, so I headed here. It turned out to be even more healing and perfect than I expected, so I had to leave a review ❤️

The place I visited was Forerest (포어레스트), a café in Uijeongbu!! I absolutely love having coffee with a wide-open view, so I went in with high expectations.

From the beautiful scenery and delicious desserts to the thoughtful pet-friendly details, it was totally my style 🍃

Forerest location and parking on Nogyang-ro, Uijeongbu

It is on Nogyang-ro in Uijeongbu, Gyeonggi. It is only a short way out of the busy city, so it is great as a driving route too—so good 👍🏻👍🏻

This is a place that is hard to visit without a car, so parking is essential… ✔️

Parking is always a worry when I drive, but as you would expect from a large Uijeongbu café, there was plenty of dedicated parking around the building. I loved being able to park comfortably and go in without any parking stress 🫶

The drive takes a little while, but true to the name Forerest, you can really soak up the lush green scenery 🍃

The outdoor terrace had such a lovely atmosphere too. Coffee in an open-air space with a cool breeze is pure healing, right? ❤️

Forerest hours

Forerest is open every day of the year from 11 AM to midnight, so it is great for enjoying a leisurely daytime view of the greenery or the cozy mood around sunset! I went at about 5 PM, and the timing was perfect!! ✔️

A café you can visit with your dog

By the way, Forerest is a pet-friendly café in Uijeongbu where you can bring your precious dog 🐶 Since you can relax with your pup in both the indoor and outdoor areas without feeling self-conscious, I saw quite a few other guests with dogs too!!

I love the wood-toned interior 🐶🤎 The green trees and wood-toned décor felt so atmospheric—completely my style 🍃

A spacious interior with floor-to-ceiling nature views

I was surprised by how huge the interior was and how high the ceilings were… There are lots of seats too, so it can accommodate groups! ✔️

This Uijeongbu café has expansive floor-to-ceiling windows on all sides, with lush natural scenery spread out like a painting beyond them. Just sitting there made me feel healed. 🫧🫧

The interior was so comfortable and stylishly decorated that it was an ideal place to chat and spend time at ease 🤍🤍

Calling it a healing café that blends with nature would not be an exaggeration—I felt my mind settle down throughout my visit.

There are room spaces too, so it can feel private, and with so many seats, I could use it without waiting even on a busy weekend!! 👍🏻👍🏻

Milk tea and Basque cheesecake together

The menu was nicely packed with fragrant signature coffees, non-coffee drinks, and a variety of Basque cheesecakes that would make any bread-and-dessert lover excited.

I ordered the iced Americano, milk tea, and Basque cheesecake combination!!

Just look at that dense, rich texture… 🤤 It made my mouth water just looking at it. The green tea Basque cheesecake had a slightly bitter, deep matcha aroma that blended perfectly with the soft cheese, filling my mouth with such wonderful flavor 🥹🥹

The black sesame Basque cheesecake I had alongside it was also so nutty and rich. Its distinctive black sesame flavor, the kind that wins over old-fashioned palates, went so well with the cheesecake 🧀

Both cakes were moist and dense, making them perfect with coffee!! I was so pleased with everything, from the neat presentation to the quality 🤍🤍

The coffee was nutty and rich without acidity ☕️, and the milk tea was strong but went down smoothly too. Such a good combination 👍🏻👍🏻

It was also such a great place to take photos against the natural scenery surrounding the café, and perfect for a walk while feeling the breeze 🍃 I loved the special atmosphere of this Uijeongbu healing café that blends with nature! If you want to spend a relaxed time in Uijeongbu, make sure to visit at least once!! 💚
