Hanam pork BBQ with corkage wine and grilled potatoes: Ikkjujeokku
In short
Ikkjujeokku (이것도 꾸워먹고 저것도 꾸워먹고) is a camping-style Korean BBQ restaurant near Sinwoo Elementary School in Gwangam-dong, Hanam, Gyeonggi, where guests choose between the charcoal hall, the griddle hall and the outdoor charcoal terrace. In the griddle hall we ordered Jeju black pork fresh five-layer belly, kimchi pork belly, fresh pork neck and Jeju pork kimchi jjigae, then browned potatoes we brought ourselves in the pork fat and drank a red wine brought in on corkage. Outside food and corkage are both allowed and there is parking, which makes Ikkjujeokku an easy choice for family or friend gatherings.

Hanam BBQ spot Ikkjujeokku. Grill this, grill that! A griddle place packed with camping vibes.

On a day I wanted to properly grill some meat in Hanam, I went looking for a BBQ place with a bit of a different atmosphere and found this one. It's 'Ikkeodo Kkuwomeokgo Jeokgeodo Kkuwomeokgo,' shortened to Ikkjujeokku, located in Gwangam-dong, Hanam. The name itself made me curious what kind of place it was, and the vibe turned out to be quite different from a typical pork belly restaurant. A camping-vibe restaurant where you can bring in outside food and even do corkage — let me introduce Hanam BBQ spot Ikkjujeokku.

A great Hanam BBQ spot with parking available — Ikkjujeokku.

Nationally low-priced pork belly at Hanam BBQ restaurant Ikkjujeokku

What impressed me was that you can choose your space depending on your taste: charcoal hall, griddle hall, or outdoor charcoal terrace.
Where is Ikkjujeokku, and is there parking? Gwangam-dong, Hanam, near Sinwoo Elementary
Ikkjujeokku is located in Gwangam-dong, Hanam, near Sinwoo Elementary School. It's a bit away from the main commercial area, so it's not crowded and has a comfortable atmosphere for eating. It's easy to visit by car and parking is available, so it seemed like a good spot for a family visit or a gathering with several people.
Charcoal hall, griddle hall or outdoor terrace: which seats to pick at Ikkjujeokku
Above all, Ikkjujeokku's biggest feature is that you can choose the space you eat in yourself. If you want to enjoy the meat's natural flavor over charcoal, go for the charcoal hall; if you want to grill meat and various ingredients together on a cast-iron griddle, go for the griddle hall.

I used the griddle hall that day. It's a method where you place the meat on a cast-iron griddle and grill it sizzling away — you can even grill bracken fern and bean sprouts in the fat that comes off the meat, which was both fun and delicious.

There are also rooms, perfect for a family gathering. If you want to really feel the camping vibe on a nice day, choose the outdoor charcoal terrace.

It was so fun that there's an actual convenience store inside haha.

You can even enjoy Han River ramyeon here, which was another fun touch.

What is on the self-serve bar at Ikkjujeokku?
Self-serve bar at Hanam BBQ spot Ikkjujeokku

The self-serve bar had a wide variety of side dishes that pair well with meat — lettuce wraps, kimchi, mustard leaf kimchi, green onion salad, wild garlic leaves, garlic, chili peppers — and I liked that you could take as much as you wanted.

What we ordered: Jeju black pork belly, kimchi pork belly, pork neck and kimchi jjigae
That day we ordered Jeju black pork fresh pork belly, kimchi pork belly, Jeju black pork fresh pork neck, and Jeju pork kimchi jjigae (kimchi stew). I picked a variety since I wanted to try a bit of each cut.
As you grill the meat, the fat naturally pools underneath, and you can grill bracken fern and bean sprouts in it. Bracken fern and bean sprouts soaked in meat fat taste totally different from having them plain. A bite of meat with a bit of fern and bean sprouts together was a pretty great combo.
Started eating meat with the fresh green onion kimchi haha.

The Jeju black pork fresh pork belly and fresh pork neck let you taste the meat itself, while the kimchi pork belly had its own charm grilled together with kimchi.

There were several sauces too, so it was easy to eat to your taste haha.
Grilling Jeju black pork on the griddle at Ikkjujeokku

The griddle hall is a style where you place the meat on a cast-iron griddle to grill. It's more enjoyable to pick a variety rather than eating just one type of meat the whole time — never gets boring. True to the name, it really was 'grill this, grill that' fun haha.

The Jeju black pork fresh pork belly was great for its chewy texture and savory flavor. As it grilled golden brown on the griddle, the delicious smell rose up — meat really does get your appetite going from the moment it starts grilling.

The fresh pork neck had a different, more mellow charm compared to the pork belly. If you like the chewy, savory taste of pork belly, go for that; if you prefer a leaner cut, the pork neck is the way to go.

And the kimchi pork belly can't be skipped either. Grilling pork belly together with kimchi is hard to get wrong haha. Eating the meat with kimchi cut the richness and I kept reaching for more.

Corkage and outside food: red wine plus potatoes grilled in pork fat
Since corkage is allowed (paid), I brought along some red wine~

Since outside food is allowed, I grilled potatoes. Grilled in the pork belly fat, these were twice as good!

The green onion kimchi here is the real kicker. Wrapping it up with the meat was genuinely delicious.

Finishing with Jeju pork kimchi jjigae
It's nice to have a soup dish partway through a meat meal, so we ordered the Jeju pork kimchi jjigae too.

With both meat and kimchi in the stew, it paired well alongside the grilled meat, and the warm broth made the meal feel even more substantial. If you'd feel like something's missing with just meat, I'd recommend ordering the kimchi jjigae too.
Is Ikkjujeokku good for family and friend gatherings?
Hanam BBQ spot Ikkjujeokku, a good-value family gathering spot in Hanam. One thing I really liked was the relaxed, comfortable atmosphere for eating freely. It seemed good for a family visit or a gathering with friends.
On a nice-weather day, grilling meat on the outdoor terrace would really feel like camping. With the outdoor tent terrace, it seemed great for chatting with friends over grilled meat, or spending a special evening with family.
I used the griddle hall this time, but next time I'd love to try the outdoor charcoal terrace on a nice day. Planning to revisit in the fall~ If you're looking for a good-value pork belly spot, a family gathering place, or a camping-vibe BBQ restaurant in Gwangam-dong, Hanam, give this a look. I really ate my fill of 'grill this, grill that' that day haha.
