While looking for a nice-vibe bakery café in Seorae Village, I visited Remangdore (레망도레) LES MAINS DORÉES, the Seorae Village branch.

Search for Seorae Village cafés and you'll find plenty of places with pretty desserts and bakery items. Remangdore caught my eye with its wide range — croissants, madeleines, financiers, scones, egg tarts — plus gorgeous gift packaging.

If you're after the pistachio croissant, the Dubai croissant, madeleines, or financiers, this is a Seorae Village bakery worth stopping by.

Planter reading LES MAINS DORÉES in front of the store

Walking through the alley, you'll spot a planter with LES MAINS DORÉES written on it. Remangdore means "golden hands" in French — a name meant to honor the hands of the bakers making the bread and desserts. Maybe that's why the whole store feels like real care went into the bakery side of things.

White and black exterior of Remangdore

The exterior isn't flashy, more clean and classic. There's no big sign, so you might walk right past it on your first visit, but the white and black facade fits the Seorae Village atmosphere nicely.

Does Remangdore have outdoor terrace seating?

There's a small outdoor terrace beside the store, with tables and chairs under parasols — good for a coffee on a nice spring or fall day. The plants add to that relaxed Seorae Village feel.

Inside the Remangdore Seorae Village café

Walking in, the first things you notice are the curved bakery showcase and the red-colored packaging. White and wood tones as the base, with Remangdore's signature red as an accent, give it a clean yet upscale feel.

Frames and objects are placed throughout, giving it more of a boutique feel than a typical bakery café. The attention to packaging and display, not just the desserts themselves, makes it a good spot for photos.

Remangdore drink menu and prices

Remangdore drink menu board with prices

The coffee menu ranges from basics to signature drinks. At the time of photographing: Americano ₩5,500, latte ₩6,300, flat white ₩6,300, cappuccino ₩6,300, vanilla latte ₩6,700, coffee of the day ₩5,200, ice cream float ₩8,500.

Non-coffee options include Jeju matcha oat, vanilla lemonade, and Valrhona chocolate latte, so there are plenty of choices for non-coffee drinkers too.

※ Menu items and prices may vary depending on when you visit.

Choosing your coffee beans at Remangdore

Sign for Noir and Blanc bean selection

Coffee beans can be picked based on your taste.

  • NOIR — a bean expressing dark chocolate, nutty warmth, and cherry sweetness
  • BLANC +₩1,000 — a bean with green apple freshness and berry acidity
  • DECAF +₩1,000

I liked being able to choose based on preference.

Bakery showcase display at Remangdore

Honestly, the bakery showcase is what caught my eye most at Remangdore. The variety is bigger than expected. Caramel pecan scone ₩4,500, classic egg tart ₩3,700 — the egg tart's pastry layers were so distinct it looked crisp just by looking at it. A salted chocolate egg tart was displayed right next to it.

Bakery counter with cardamom buns displayed

Cardamom bun ₩5,400. Worth noting if you like cardamom — it seems to sell out fast, since there weren't many left when I visited.

Pistachio croissant covered in pistachio

The pistachio croissant (₩8,800) really stood out. Covered generously in pistachio on the outside, it had a striking look from the start. If you're after croissants at Remangdore, this one's worth a glance.

The Naver menu also lists a limited Dubai croissant (₩15,000) as a signature item. If you're into Dubai chocolate or pistachio desserts, it's worth checking availability before visiting Remangdore.

From pain au chocolat to chausson aux pommes

Pain au chocolat with distinct pastry layers

Pain au chocolat ₩5,800. The pastry layers looked very tightly formed, and with the deep chocolate color, it looked quite delicious.

Display case with chausson aux pommes and choco baguette

Elsewhere there was chausson aux pommes ₩6,300, choco baguette ₩6,800, sweet pumpkin cream cheese sourdough ₩6,300, and more. It's not just sweet desserts — there are heartier breads too, so the options are fairly wide.

Financier flavours on offer at Remangdore

Remangdore also had several kinds of financiers. What I could see in photos: Maldon salt chocolate financier ₩3,700, nutty financier ₩3,700. If you like classic baked treats, worth checking out alongside the madeleines.

Seorae Village gift idea: madeleine and financier boxes

Red madeleine and financier gift packaging
Two-tier jewelry-box-style dessert gift box

Remangdore has a solid lineup of gift-ready desserts. This two-tier jewelry-box-style dessert package especially looks like a real gift box. Priced at ₩72,000 at the time of photographing.

For lighter gifting, the Naver menu lists a madeleine gift box (6pcs, ₩30,000) and a financier gift box (6pcs, ₩28,000). Packed with various flavors in a red package, they seemed good for housewarming or thank-you gifts.

Dessert gift wrapped in navy bojagi cloth

Bojagi (traditional wrapping cloth) wrapping was also available for ₩3,000. The navy bojagi with tassel detail really upped the gift feel. If you're after a higher-end dessert gift in Seorae Village, Remangdore is worth considering.

What I ordered at Remangdore

Caramel pecan scone and drink on a tray

Maldon salt chocolate financier topped with chocolate and salt

We picked the caramel pecan scone and Maldon salt chocolate financier alongside our drinks. The plates and trays at Remangdore were clean overall, so the desserts looked great once plated.

Caramel pecan scone, 4,500 won

The caramel pecan scone has visible chunky sugar crystals and pecans on the surface. It's baked to a very appetizing color, and the size is thicker than expected.

If you like a sweeter, nuttier style with caramel rather than a plain scone, this suits you well. It also pairs nicely with coffee.

Maldon salt chocolate financier, 3,700 won

The Maldon salt chocolate financier looked especially pretty. One side of the financier is coated in chocolate with salt crystals on top.

The rich chocolate with a salty accent is great if you like sweet-and-salty desserts. Not too big, so it's easy to enjoy alongside a cup of coffee.

A Seorae Village bakery that pairs well with coffee

Dessert table enjoyed alongside coffee at Remangdore

With such a wide bakery selection, I'd recommend grabbing a bread or baked treat rather than just coffee at Remangdore. The clean atmosphere and the fun of browsing the dessert variety made it good for a Seorae Village date or a visit with friends.

Remangdore parking and valet details

If you're driving, check the parking info. Per the store's guidance: paid parking available, first 120 minutes ₩4,000, +₩2,000 per additional 30 minutes, max ₩10,000; valet also available for ₩4,000.

However, valet is not offered on Sundays, and if the lot is full, they suggest using nearby public parking lots — worth keeping in mind for weekend visits.
