There's a menu board at the entrance worth glancing at — you can order tofu hot pot, matcha lotus leaf rice, tofu steak and other dishes à la carte, or go with a course that brings out a whole lineup of food haha. Takeout is available too!

Wood-toned interior with floor-to-ceiling windows

After ordering, I took a look around the interior — it was clean and pleasant haha.

The warm wood tones and floor-to-ceiling windows let sunlight pour in, giving the place a really nice atmosphere.

It's been featured on TV several times, so I was even more excited haha.

There's also a review event running haha — if you participate in the receipt review event, you get extra lotus leaf rice, so keep that in mind haha.

What's in the Special B course?

We ordered the Special B course, which starts with porridge and salad and moves through a variety of dishes. Let me show you each one in order.

First course of the Special B menu: pine nut porridge and salad

First came warm pine nut porridge — soft and wholesome-tasting, great for settling the stomach haha.

The salad also had fresh vegetables, and with balsamic and olive oil it was fresh and tasty.

Ginseng root served with a sweet sauce

They also serve a piece of ginseng root — the root itself is bitter, but it's drizzled with a sweet sauce that makes it delicious.

Tofu steak grilled in perilla oil

Next up was the tofu steak.

They give you soy sauce to dip it in a little at a time, which makes it even tastier haha.

The tofu was incredibly soft with a nicely browned exterior — genuinely delicious. Grilled in perilla oil, it was nutty, tender, and had great texture.

Bowl of japchae served as part of the course

Mild japchae and freshly fried sweet and sour pork

They also serve japchae (stir-fried glass noodles), and overall the seasoning isn't too strong, so it seemed like a great place to bring parents looking for healthier food.

It's loaded with mushrooms, carrots, and onions for a colorful mix, and the glass noodles had a nice bouncy texture — really tasty. Best of all, since it's not heavily seasoned, you keep going back for more.

They also serve sweet and sour pork — and honestly, it's genuinely delicious. Freshly fried, it was super crispy outside while the inside was tender with no chewy bits at all, truly tasty.

The sweet and sour sauce was tangy and sweet too — I ate until I was full haha.

Five side dishes, LA galbi, and lotus leaf rice

Next came five side dishes along with LA galbi (marinated short ribs), plus lotus leaf rice and hot pot.

Five side dishes including napa cabbage and cucumber kimchi

The side dishes were napa cabbage kimchi, cucumber kimchi, stir-fried eggplant, seasoned chili peppers, and braised soy beef — all high quality and delicious.

Lotus leaf rice wrapped in a lotus leaf

They also serve one lotus leaf rice per person, neatly wrapped in a lotus leaf — steamed thoroughly so it tasted like freshly cooked rice, really delicious.

With jujube, beans, chestnuts, ginkgo nuts, and pine nuts mixed in, it's a wholesome rice with deep flavor — tasty even eaten plain haha.

They also serve LA galbi — the meat quality was good and the marinade was flavorful with a nice saltiness that paired well with rice.

The meat came off the bone easily, so I really enjoyed eating it haha.

Tofu hot pot even a spice wimp like me can handle

They also serve tofu hot pot, and even spice wimps like us could enjoy it — clean-tasting and crowd-pleasing haha.

Pot of tofu hot pot served already simmering

It comes out already simmering, so once the meat on top is cooked you can dig right in haha. The broth was really clean, and with tofu, mushrooms, bean sprouts, onion, and scallion, it had deep flavor — so delicious haha.

With shrimp, mushrooms, and meat all together, the flavor was even richer, and the tofu was soft and went great with rice.

Tofu hot pot portioned into an individual bowl

They gave us a ladle and individual bowls, making it easy to portion out. The shrimp were plump and tasty too.

Finishing with fried shrimp and sweet pumpkin

They also serve fried food haha — fried shrimp and fried sweet pumpkin, and both were genuinely delicious.

Freshly fried, the outside was super crispy while the shrimp inside stayed moist and chewy for a great texture, and the sweet pumpkin was soft and sweet inside too — delicious.
