Mapo café for chocolate banana soufflé and basil tomato ade: Petrico
In short
Petrico is a café in Mapo, Seoul, near Hapjeong Station. I tried its 17,000 won chocolate banana soufflé and 7,500 won basil tomato ade in a warm, wood-filled space with parking options. Petrico is a lovely pick for a sweet soufflé and refreshing ade together.

A space shaped by warm wood tones and elegant lighting
Under the soft, elegant lighting, the warm wood interior created an atmosphere that felt both comfortable and refined.

Green plants tucked into every corner, stylish framed art, and antique accessories add depth to the space, where classic and modern moods naturally coexist.

With music that suits the space so well, it felt as though I had slipped into another time for a while—and I felt more relaxed than ever.

Chocolate banana soufflé and basil tomato ade
Just how sweet is the chocolate banana soufflé?
🍫 Chocolate banana soufflé ₩17,000 It looked so cheerful just sitting there, and they were truly generous with the chocolate.

The soufflé was so soft and fluffy it practically melted the moment it hit my mouth. It was sweet without being over-the-top, with a subtle flavor that made every bite happy.

There was especially plenty of chocolate—enough to generously dip the soufflé and still pile it onto the banana.

Soft soufflé + sweet banana + rich chocolate: literally a combination that cannot fail.

It was a proper dessert that made me happy for no particular reason from the first bite. The funny thing was, because it was so good, I started taking bigger and bigger bites. My big soufflé disappeared in no time...
What does the basil tomato ade taste like?
🍅 Basil tomato ade ₩7,500 This was honestly difficult to sum up in one phrase. The first impression was incredibly clear and refreshing—a clean, cool flavor, like a glassful of fresh nature.

Tomato’s distinctive aroma and gentle sweetness came together naturally, followed by a light burst of fresh basil. It definitely felt different from the tomato ades I have had before.

Maybe because they use house-made basil tomato syrup, the tomato and basil flavors felt much deeper and richer. And when I tried the tomato served alongside it on its own... it was insanely good, too.

It had a different flavor from eating it with the ade, so I kept reaching for it. Sweet yet refreshing, with the tomato’s natural taste and basil’s fragrant character fully alive—such a charming ade.
A mood-filled café near Hapjeong Station with parking
If I visit again, I think I will try the coco lime ade, too. The basil tomato ade was so delicious that I am already curious about what charm its house-made syrup will bring.
If you are looking near Hapjeong Station for a café with parking as well as an atmospheric, relaxing feel, I personally think this is quite a rare find. There are lots of pretty cafés, but places where warm wood interiors, soft lighting, plants, antique accessories, and framed art all come together—and where parking is convenient too—are even harder to find.

I definitely recommend it.
