I visited because it had newly opened in Mangwon-dong after Magoknaru as a specialty roastery café, and the quality was honestly so good, from coffee brewed with beans roasted in-house to the desserts : ) There are lots of pretty cafés these days, but it is surprisingly hard to find one where the coffee tastes great too, right? This was not just a pretty new café in Mangwon—the coffee itself was so good that it stayed with me.

How close is it to Mangwon Station, and where should I park?

It is a five-minute walk from Exit 2 of Mangwon Station, so getting there was easy! It is also close to Mangwon Market and Mangridan-gil, making it a nice place to stop by while exploring Mangwon-dong or in the middle of a date.
Parking
There is no dedicated parking, so if you are driving, you will need to use a nearby public parking lot. Keep in mind that the Mangwon 1-dong Community Service Center parking lot is about 150 m from the café :) It is easy enough to get to, so this feels like a good one to save.
A calm interior for a quiet coffee

PICT Roastery had a clean, stylish feel from the exterior, while the inside felt calm and comfortable too. Above all, it is a roastery café that handles everything from green-bean roasting to extraction in-house, so the coffee aroma was amazing from the moment I walked in!

Rather than a loud, huge café, it felt like a great place to have coffee while chatting quietly, so it would be nice for a date too. You could really tell that the focus was on the coffee itself, not just the interior! The window seats were so pretty, and they looked perfect for reading as well!

More than anything, if you want a properly good cup of coffee in Mangwon, this seems well worth adding to your list :)

Americano and pistachio tiramisu together

We ordered one Americano, one decaf Americano, and the pistachio tiramisu!

First of all, the Americano was seriously delicious. I think coffee lovers would be satisfied! I wanted to come back just for the coffee, and I would love to recommend it to friends who love coffee.

It was great that we could choose from a variety of beans and order according to our own tastes, but maybe because it is truly a roastery café, the aroma and flavor of the coffee really came through.

And then, the pistachio tiramisu I had been looking forward to! Its distinctively nutty pistachio flavor came through, and it was such a good match with the coffee.

A sip of Americano followed by a bite of dessert was heaven! I have been trying to cut back on desserts because I have gained weight lately, so I hesitated, but it was honestly so delicious that I did not regret it one bit : ) It is not only a place that does coffee well—the desserts were delicious too, so I was very satisfied!

The pistachio was fragrant, and since this is such a good coffee spot, the tiramisu itself was absolutely delicious too! Next time, I would like to try the signature aged French toast and matcha Basque cheesecake as well.
PICT Roastery let me enjoy everything from house-roasted specialty coffee to delicious desserts in one place! Its atmosphere is great for a quiet cup of coffee, so I think it would suit anyone looking for coffee, while options such as pistachio tiramisu make it easy to recommend for dessert lovers too. If you have been looking for a newly opened café where the coffee is genuinely excellent as well, give it a visit ერთხელ : )
