Today I'm posting about Plan A Restaurant, a Pohang Songdo pasta spot with an ocean view!!

Where is Plan A Restaurant, and where do you park?

Plan A Restaurant is located at 1189 Huimangdae-ro, 4th floor, Nam-gu, Pohang-si, Gyeongsangbuk-do — right near Songdo Beach, so it's easy to find.

For parking, there's a public lot right behind the building. It's free and spacious, so it's really convenient haha.

Once you park, you can see Plan A Restaurant, a Pohang Songdo favorite, right across on the 4th floor. It's on the 4th floor, but there's an elevator so no worries there.

The hours for Plan A Restaurant, this ocean-view pasta favorite, are 11:45–21:00 (daily), break time 15:30–17:00, last order 20:30!! No closed days, which is great. Plus, local gift card payment is accepted, so keep that in mind.

Let's go inside~ The interior is so clean, full of cute little decorative pieces.

Turn right and you get a full view of Songdo Beach in Pohang haha. Total emotional moment.

What's on the menu at Plan A Restaurant

Once we settled in and ordered — they sell a variety of Western dishes: steak, pasta, rice dishes, salads, and more.

They also sell a variety of beers, along with soft drinks and coffee.

I ordered the main menu items: the Plan B steak (240g), shrimp rosé pasta, and a zero-calorie cola.

While healing with the East Sea view, today's dish arrived!! Steak, 240g!! It came with salad and potatoes to eat alongside, and the whole setup was excellent! Amazing value for the price.

Look at the amount of meat~ They also stir-fried mushrooms, bell peppers, and onions to eat with it.

The fries were fried just right, and the salad was fresh too.

Domestic hanwoo (Korean beef) steak, seared in butter with no sauce — it's incredibly tasty even without one.

The meat was so well-seared that it wasn't chewy at all, just tender. And dipping it in this sauce every once in a while wasn't a bad idea either.

The button mushrooms sautéed in butter were even tastier hahaha. I went full unlimited-meat-eating mode.

Next up, the shrimp rosé pasta!! Whoa, the portion size on this one is great too.

And the shrimp were really big.

Besides the big ones, there were also smaller bits mixed right into the sauce!! Minced shrimp, onion, king oyster mushroom, oyster mushroom — the sauce with all these ingredients was outstanding haha. I ended up scooping it up with a spoon lol.

And the noodles had just the right chewiness, cooked well so they slid right down.

The portion was generous and the sauce soaked in nicely, pairing really well with the steak haha.

Cleared the whole thing in under 20 minutes!! Lol. Confirmed: a solid Songdo, Pohang ocean-view spot haha.

Is Plan A Restaurant in Songdo, Pohang worth it?

• Free public parking right behind the building, so no parking worries
• It's on the 4th floor with an ocean view, but there's an elevator so no worries there either
• Overall serves Western food at good prices
• The steak especially has insane value and the quality is amazing too
• Beyond the steak, you also get mushrooms, bell peppers, fries, and salad
• The shrimp rosé pasta has 3 whole shrimp plus minced shrimp, onion, and mushrooms — the sauce is amazing

If you stop by Pohang, I definitely recommend giving this place a visit.
